Back when they had you transfer your account I wasn't in a situation where i was able to play the game but i did do the transfer process. I now finally go back to play and find that the transfer never went through. This issue is honestly why I wish there was a customer support email.

Edited by ADragonWithin: 10/11/2022 6:18:05 AMIf you did successfully complete the Migration, then when logging in on Steam, your characters would be there. Not seeing your characters is the result of either A) you didn't actually do the migration, or B) you're logging into the wrong Steam ID. If the reason is that you thought you did the Migration, but you actually didn't, then, as the others have stated, there's nothing that can be done. Blizzard has removed access to that save data and license data and it is no longer available to Migrate. Bungie employees cannot help you with this; that deadline has long passed. If the reason is that you used the wrong Steam ID, then you just need to figure out which Steam ID you used for the Migration and your characters will be there. It's possible you logged into a forgotten Steam ID when you Migrated using an email instead of a username; if so, you can try using Steam's forgotten password link on their website log-in page to the point you enter the code from your email. It will show you every Steam ID associated with that email. Ideally the Steam ID you actually used will be there and you can log in on the Steam client with that and play your characters. If this is the case, please note that your characters are stuck on that Steam ID and cannot be moved to a different Steam ID. In either case, it should be noted that due to the age of your characters and the last time they were played, when starting Destiny 2 now, you would still be starting pretty much as a new character anyway. You would be starting at the base power that every new character starts at, and you would be doing the New Light questline that new characters start at. Any equipment outside of exotics you owned would need to be immediately replaced since that old equipment wouldn't be able to be powered up, so you'd be collecting new equipment just like a brand new character. You'd have to learn your abilities fresh and set them up all over, since the class ability systems have changed completely from the three-path system that was in the game when you last played, so, just like a new character, you'd have to learn how the classes work now. The only difference, actual gameplay wise, between your characters and a brand new account would be any exotics you previously had, and the Forsaken pack, if you previously owned Forsaken. Beyond that, even if you did have your old characters, they'd pretty much be starting and going through the same processes that a brand new character would. Starting to play now without buying anything else, the only exotics you would be unable to get are the Forsaken exotics. All the rest from the first two DLCs were folded into the Destiny 2 main game and made available through normal world drops by now. Any that were quest-related can be purchased at the exotic kiosk in the Tower. So, if you did not actually Migrate, cannot find the Steam ID you set up for the Migration, or don't want to play on the Steam ID you set up with the Migration, it's not actually a major loss to start fresh, since you'd pretty much be starting almost fresh anyway.
