Thought of this in 2 seconds so take it with a grain of salt
SO i think they should make it so u don't need to level up the crafted weapons for regular perks to be equipped that way the gun isn't terrible when u first craft it and u don't need to sit at Shuro chi mindlessly just to make the gun useable, However keep the level requirement for enhanced perks that way players have something to work towards. And for acquiring weapons patterns, if there were a gun which usually required 5 patterns to become craftable for example like a raid weapon, i think it should require 6 patterns , however discarding non red borders would count for 1 crafting pattern but completing or discarding a red border/deepsight version of the weapon would give 2 crafting patterns. For an example lets say I'm trying to get a craftable zaouli's Bane hand cannon , instead of the non red-border drops of the handcannon being useless towards my crafting goal, they could actually grant me some progress towards my weapon being crafted in the form of discarding it which isn't RNG based For example I could craft my zaouli,s bane simply by getting 2 red borders and 2 regular drops
2 patters from each red border/deepsight
and 1 from each regular drop adding up to 6 making the weapon craftable. Also buying non red borders with spoils would still contribute to your weapons' crafting but of course cost your spoils of conquest.
IMO I think this version of weapon crafting would make players happier and it would be overall more casual friendly.

2 RepliesBe happy crafting is here before you would farm raid weapons and take the best roll given now you can make what you want with less effort than before.
