Can anyone plz explain

Why, I was in Sorrow’s Habour on moon farming kill on a catalyst & I counted at least 15-18 engrams, some prime engrams, some umbral engrams. But there were easily 15, this is after about 2 hours just doing back to back alters & idk how many of the t3 nightmare as I lost count. However considering my mail box or post master only had 4 items in it, when I returned to tower all those engrams I counted on ground were lost & there was only like 6 engrams, 1 eververse & ½ dozen blues! The 4 original items that were in there was no longer, like they pushed them out to make way for new stock & new stock was crap blues & all those engrams were now just lost or wasted. How does that work? Should they all give to post? If this is how mail box thing works now, I’ll start collecting everything instead just assuming it’ll go to post master. I thought everything you couldn’t loot in the field went to post master.

    • No. Never Rely on the Postmaster. You only want 1-2 things to go to her. Anything old, will just get pushed out. Postmaster isn't for Storage. Have your Engram inventory partially empty with at least 2-3 empty slots.
