The new player experience is grating at best

I will preface that I want to like this game. 1. DLCs causing problems - I want to play through the story, but apparently I need to do a nightfall strike...which is paywalled behind a DLC presently with no guess as to how many WEEKS it will be before I get to have the ~privelege~ of having a f2p option in the menu. Should do the elder scrolls online way of having a base game option and a DLC/premium option 2. Using the cool stuff - both the ammo economy and skill cooldowns are agonizing, and I don't have an intense enough way to put that across properly without swearing. I am told it gets better with mods...that are locked behind DAILY RNG. It feels like I need to obsessively conserve ammo and my abilities for the right moment and even then it leads to feeling like I am wasting the abilities to use them because of the veritable eternity between uses. 3. Raids - I had the (dis)pleasure of running king's fall with a group of veterans this weekend and while we completed the raid, I can say that was a terribly designed experience. a. - The ship parkour section was horrible, with my jump being eaten about every third jump causing me to fall and have to start over. Who made this section forgetting that warlock exists? Additionaly I legitimately had enough time to walk away and take a piss break before the ship reappeared for another try. Who thought this was a good idea? b. - the cyclops explosion mechanic is poorly designed, in that the debugf shows WAY AT THE LEFT OF MY SCREEN WHERE I CANT SEE. Apparently it makes the screen more purple. Maybe I'm colorblind, but I can't see it. At all. c. - the lack of audio/visual cues to raid mechanics lead to more than a few "what the **** just killed me" moments. This game is first person, please for the love of God add some way of knowing stuff is happening without having to stare at the extreme left of the screen. 4. Arc everything and drops - I started playing this game specifically because solar warlock looks cool. I frankly do not care that arc 3.0 is a thing but why tf would you base an entire event's upgrades around only one element? I get it was just upgraded but I am glutted for arc and void weapons but have had a grand total of 5(!) Solar weapons drop. What inbred thought this drop table for vanguard strikes was a good idea?
