Where are the core system changes though???
Removal of power levels and a more prestige focus on the Battle Pass and Difficulty???
Bringing in more difficulty levels each major seasonal update???
Removal of Champions for more unique Champion “loot based” versions ie Treasure Goblins from D3
Optional Matchmaking ie Guardian Games system
Combining Nightfalls and Vanguard Ops into one playlist while adding seasonal content into playlists for seasonal and planetary rewards ie Nightmare Hunts, Europa Simulations and Empire Hunts.
Add vendor for Dungeons
Exotic bounties for exotic loot like the old days of D1
Heroic Loot Sectors being the means for sunset content that can be brought forward as non sunset content ie old Faction gear.
Crucible being revamp into 2 separate playlists versus several different modes: Valor(Casual) and Glory(COMP).
These playlists are determined by the maps and modes ie Zone Control and Rift for Casual and Rift and Control for Competitive.
LOOT INCENTIVE NEEDS TO BE TIED INTO GAMEPLAY AND IT SHOULD NOT BE STINGY.
What is wrong with having multiple chests drop in harder content???
What is wrong with dropping both armor and weapons simultaneously???

1 ReplyA bump for a lot of good ideas, that I agree could help the game. Definitely a lot they could do and might hopefully get to in the near future. I am hopeful that Lightfall will start introducing us to different and updated game modes and mechanics. I feel they are trying to shift Destiny 2 into a new direction. I could of course be off on my take, but I thought I read about the direction of the game in a previous post. On the lighter side of things. A couple more weeks and us Hunters will finally have Gyrfalcons! Good take!👍
