This Eager Edge nerf is unwarranted, implemented incredibly poorly, and simply makes the game feel worse without addressing the actual potency of the perk

I won't pretend its unwarranted to nerf EE in general, but specifically nerfing the ability to double swipe is such a meaningless hit that it just feels petty. If they wanted to prevent players from skipping between raid encounters or doing extreme out-of-bounds glitches, then the issues to address are well skating, shatter skating, or simply the fact that warlocks can be anywhere in the map they want with Heat Rises, not the ability to simply swipe more than once. Not to mention, IT WASN'T EVEN CHANGED IN THE WAY THEY SAID! Yes, it prevents the double and triple swipe, but really whats going on is there is now a speed limit on EE. Basically, any time you are moving fast, you will be unable to use EE. The attached video does a good job of explaining what that really means in game. All in all, I will still be able to "break" the game however I want with EE via other forms of skating. By putting this speed limit in the game, nothing is ANY less broken but the swords with EE feel so much worse to use. The limit also means that if a player griefs you by launching you with EE, you will not be able to EE back most likely, because you will be moving too fast. This has literally made it EASIER to grief people doing this bc they are less able to save themselves with their own EE. Again, if it is truly the design decision that Bungie wants to reel back the potency of EE, I can understand that. Nothing about this change has accomplished this, has only served to make player experience worse for those who enjoyed pushing this perk to the limits.

Its perk is meant to be activated once then go on cooldown. Players we’re finding ways to activate it 3 times in a row. If thats not a bug idk what is, also going a max speed makes sense since going super fast can kill you the user and giving it one ensures that it cant kill players anymore. You can still use eager edge just not as it was before. So stop over reacting to a fix to a weapon that had a bugged perk
