Bungie,
Crossplay should not be a thing as long as we do not have dedicated servers. The latency, especially coming from playstation users, is absolutely terrible. It’s a clear competitive advantage- and that’s not even mentioning the increased aim assist on PS controller.
Or at least bring them in line. There are a lot of playstation users out there who will deny that this exists, but you can ask any xbox user or stadia user. 19/20 of them will confirm that the “playstation advantage” in the crucible specifically is a very real thing.
EDIT: if it feels the same way the other way around- than it’s still crossplay that needs to go until we get rid of p2p servers. Either way the point still stands, when it’s bad enough that you can tell what console somebody is on by the way the lag feels- it’s -blam!- up and needs to be fixed.

1 ReplySource: trust me bro. In all fairness it feels the otherway around exactly the same. It isnt a specific console issue, its crossplay thats messing things up. Then also add p2p into the mix and you get a horrible experience.

1 ReplyPlaystation is just natrully an advantage, who wants Crap Box Series F ?

4 RepliesLol one of the best excuses for “im bad”

2 RepliesIn your Edit, if it's the Crossplay, don't say then Playstation users, as Xbox connections are just as bad.

I absolutely hate being paired with PlayStation and PC users. PC users use macros and speed run strikes and events to the point of non enjoyment and PlayStation is just 💩 a dying company at best. They have utterly lost their minds. Ditching first party single player games for Live Service NFT gaming. 🤣 I hope Bungie gets into financial trouble for dealing with PlayStation frankly. The fact that Crossplay is FORCED is the worst part. You have to play Destiny with god awful PlayStation and PC users. Xbox enjoyers are FORCED to use Crossplay. If you turn off Crossplay in your Xbox privacy settings Destiny will literally not even put you in a match. Crossplay is FORCED BS FAVORITISM Absolutely hate PlayStation and PC. -
1 ReplySo why is It that whenever I encounter a player who lands that amazing but slightly suspicious tbh shot they’re never ever on Ps when I check their platform post match?

It’s an issue both ways. Crossplay is broken there’s no denying that.
-
It’s not PlayStation and it’s not Xbox being the problem. It’s their interaction with eachother.

It's not one platform or the other, it's the crossplay between them making it laggy.
