From Nightmares to Catatonia, The Cycle of Narrative Reduction

As a returning player, I'm lost. I appreciate and enjoy the content that I've had a part in, but all the hard work adds to my confusion when it is removed. Will I ever really understand Uldren and Crow this far beyond Forsaken and the Season of the Haunted? Saint & Osiris? Gary...umm Ghaul? I wish the broken bridges were a little closer together so I could make those leaps. The story sometimes feels like I'm waiting for a vendor to sell that one warmind cell mod so I can finish my build...

  • I’d highly recommend exploring the lore channels on YouTube. Lots of help there if you missed out on anything. All the seasonal stuff from this year (Witch Queen), for example Season of the Haunted, is playable and can be experienced. Feel free to check it out if you have the time. You might not understand everything as well as someone that’s played all of it, but there is plenty to learn and enjoy. Take your time and explore the in-game stuff and the lore community. It’d be nice if they had cutscene story catch-ups. The timeline feature and the adding of old seasonal lore books are a good start but something’s still missing.
