I made most of my characters earlier on in D1 when I was much younger. When I got back into D2 during season of the Chosen, I deleted my old characters because they were kinda ugly and made new ones. Shortly after making new ones, I realized I would have to restart the campaigns over again to access some areas of the game. So I did, I spent hours redoing the missions and story quests to access everything. But now I have another issue, as much as I love my new character designs, I have to always have the helmet on because they are just so ugly. I believe it would be nice if I didn't have to delete my entire character and replay all of the campaigns just so I could change how they look. By the way, when I say character Customization Editor, I'm talking about Race, Gender, Hair, and Face paint. The customization when you first start the game. I feel like there should be something to fix ugly characters like mine so that I could make them look normal in a Destiny 2 type of way. There should just be something in the settings that brings you back to the character customization screen like you were just making a new character.
