Leaving penalties question (just out of curiosity)
I'm just wondering if the leaving penalties could be, in some way, a manner to which Bungie is trying to keep people in said match to allow the sbmm to work correctly.
By that I mean...if for the last few years we've all been operating under the cbmm umbrella and all of a sudden sbmm is implemented (with a few tweeks), then wouldn't it make sense that the new sbmm will take time to sort itself out after enough completed matches to get a base for the new mm parameters in order to place us in our respective lobbies? Sure, initially it will be wonky but after enough matches are played everything will settle down and back to the grind as per usual. Kinda makes me think that all these people leaving are just trying to protect their precious (possibly bloated) kd/a's and/or afraid of finding out they have been crutching and might not be as good as they think. heehee (had to get a jab in) 😁
I just think it would be great if we could give it the time (i.e. completed matches) needed for a chance to work correctly. If for nothing more than to see if it will work properly and for a change of pace. You may like it. 🤐 HEY, at least Bungie is trying something.
muuwaahahahahaaaaa
On a side note, and this is just food for thought to all the anti-sbmm guardians out there...
if your complaining about having to go against peeps of your own skill then imagine what it's like for the less than your tier players. kind of a hypocritical thought pattern don't you think. You don't want to sweat every match but you want everyone lower than you to sweat every match 100% of the time while being nothing but kibble for your amusement. I just think there's something backwards with that argument.
lemme know what you think. (nicely,...hopefully)
