For the triumphs? An emblem? Ego?
Adept raid weapons are worthless when crafted weapons from the normal version equal or surpass them in quality, and ease of acquisition. +2 in each stat like adepts? Yep, crafted weps do that at level 20. Double perks in each column? Why bother when you can just pick them. Enhanced perks? Nonexistent on the adept versions. The only even remotely alluring aspect of adept weapons against crafted ones are adept mods, which are a tradeoff for enhanced perks at best and inferior at worst.
Do I want stat focused armor? Ghost shell mod and hitting up normal high roll armor sources.
Bungie has powercrept their own adept weapons by making craftable ones equal if not better, in less difficult content. This has to change if Master raids are going to be even remotely worthwhile.
