The chance is coming again Bungie. The festival is coming and yet another chance to add superblack back into the game. We’ve only been asking for it for years.

We’ve only been asking for it for years.
Shaders in Destiny 2 & why Bungie should WANT to give us the shaders we want: We get fewer and fewer Shaders of universal appeal each season. Just look through the Shaders in collections. Then go to Savathun's Throne would, and look at the beautiful architecture there. Observe the subtle color shading that helps everything its applied to. Now look back at the new Shaders... See what I mean? I imagine Bungie thinks they are encouraging Eververse sales with this move but they are actually doing the opposite. How Bungie SHOULD handle shaders: • Add 9 shaders every week - 3 Design department favorites - 3 with universal appeal - 3 chosen from player submitted 'Shader Templates' downloadable from Bungie as PDF (or whatever is easy) • Sell theses for 100 Bright dust each or a small seasonal silver price - smaller sale prices with higher volume would add stability to Eververse sales. Would this kill Eververse aesthetic item sales as people seem to think? NO! Every new Shader would, in fact become MORE valuable to players! Each week players would log in to play with the new Shaders with their existing gear. Seeing great results, they buy those shaders and many will look to see how those shaders interact with ornaments that are for sale. I would. (Bungie would have to make it so we could test shaders on Eververse items pre-purchase, but they should do that anyway). Imagine the company you work for gave you a 'free' company car with a free membership to a local car 'wrap' service that would let you change the color any time you wanted. Would you choose one favorite color like all black and never change it again? Of course not. New colors come out all the time for those services. People would change car colors all the time. They would also buy accessories for the car, and drive it more, take out friends in the car, share car photos, talk about the car... Seeing my point? Bungie should WANT to indulge our every desire with Great Shaders every week. Done right, it would bolster Eververse sales and actually excite players, increasing the potential value of every currently owned ornament AND every new ornament in Eververse. Gunship
