I lfg’ed a fireteam for a master nf yesterday and got 2 other “terrible” arc warlocks. Well we went through that nf like a hot knife through butter. Not bad for “terrible” if you ask me.🤷🏼♂️

You're gonna see a lot of replies with this toxic community's latest buzzword, "buildcrafting", but those clowns play Titan and Hunter, where all you need is one exotic to become OP DPS monsters and even with 5 armor mods + exotic + careful fragment choices, arc warlock doesn't even compare to the rest. But, you are correct. Arc warlock feels the worst out of all 3 subclasses and it's not close at all.

The only thing they don't have is well which doesnt really justify a 3rd class in of itself. Is it used in every endgame yes but then why run a warlock at that point. Void was basically unchanged Solar had its core pieces either nerfed or gutted Arc is essentially the same.

21 RepliesAgreed. They get a new melee. Got ionic traces stolen from them as an identity. No change to their supers. An exotic (get away artist) made useless instead of better. Titans get a new better damage melee, a new class ability, got ionic traces AND better grenades? Also still have one of the best dps supers on that class. Hunters got a new super that is arguably more consistent dps than BB, and better with star eaters. Ionic traces, blink, and a spammable exploding healing melee that increases in damage. Seriously wtf. Warlocks got **** on for arc.

Agreed. People who say try make a build are not thinking straight. You can build whatever you want, but it will always be subpar to hunters and titans. I want all classes to have equal footing. Arc and solar for Warlocks are really left behind these days.

Your using it wrong. Instead of crying to bungie your time could be better spent learning how to use a subclass. That would be a win win you might be able to kill an add and things would be a bit quieter for the rest of us.

I dunno. Everything I wanted out of an arc warlock, it got addressed. I can integrate all the arc moves from the old trees into one super tree. The Stormcaller really feels great to use now. Arc Soul no longer isolated to one side of the build is nice too. If anything, it never needed any big fancy new move or anything, because Arc Warlocks already had a lot in the kit, especially when you mix them all in one.

Arc Warlock needs buff to both Supers. Arc Hunter needs buff to new Super so that it actually destroys a Well of Radiance on direct impact. Arc Titan's new Exotic needs a buff.

I have viable builds but I have to work to make it work while another class gets a better version of the grenade that was once exclusive to me and was shadow nerfed to make his better. The warlock being sacrificed for the other 2 is criminal, I don't mind sharing but I don't want nerfed skip grenades and I don't want nerfed titan abilities as a fragment. Both classes got the best of the warlock while we got the worst and nerfed versions at that.

13 RepliesI mean numbers are numbers bro…. 1.Star eaters Blades - 608k (instant damage) 2.Star eaters Gathering storm - 468k (instant damage) 3.Falling star - 435k (instant damage) 4.Warlock geo mags - 423k (requires you to float in the air for 3-8 seconds to deliver all damage) Wait? They have the worst super damage? And it requires longer time to use? Don’t listen to the trolls. My ask is to make any Warlock super top tier. I want there to be a conversation around whether damage or survivability is needed. Right now in raids/end game 95% of the time you run well. Credit:Aztecross damage numbers. Keep fighting the good fight lol. Also, can we get an ornament for starfire protocal. Please?
