The whole sbmm vs cbmm dilemma

Can we just get two seperate playlists for control one that's sbmm and one that's cbmm ,but the playlist that's sbmm reward adept crucible weapons even if the difference between the adept crucible weapons and normal crucible weapons was just cosmetic it would prob make more people play and less people quit . That way the people kicking off saying they want cbmm back can have a seperate playlist but still have the quitting penalty on both cbmm and sbmm just two versions of control not like classic which had another playlist mixed in called clash. I say this because the most popular playlist when it comes to pvp is control possibly gambit too don't quote me on the gambit bit lol

  • Control should always be Sbmm. Having teammates that actually know where the zones are and want to win a match is nice. It’s the game mode pvp is balanced around. Should also have lobby balancing. Clash should be the cbmm playlist and permanent. It can be what these people call the “casual” playlist. Good players can stomp with the people who just want to have fun and try out different load outs. Quitting should be punished in both modes. All game modes should be on dedicated severs. Trials should have permanent freelance( even though I dislike it so much). Bring back win based cards. Games felt better and had more intensity. I’d like to remove the flawless pool. But at the same time I like the farming drops mechanic. Sunset all maps. And make 13 new maps. ( or remove the maps people quit. Around 10 or so while adding 4 maps each expansion and one each season. Man I miss just talking about sandbox instead of matchmaking.

  • How about bungie gets rid of both along with all PvP stats and just call it our secret blend of matchmaking.

    • Having 2 options won’t fix anything. All it will do is create a CBMM option that is full of sweats. Why would an average or below average player ever play the CBMM option when all they will do is get stomped? There is no fix. One group will be unhappy always. Looks like it’s the sweats turn. That’s the way of the road!

Control (sbmm) and “classic mix” (cbmm) existed the last time bungie added sbmm, classic mix ended up essentially being sbmm because only the good players or anti-sbmm players chose it. This same situation is happening now with the rotator since it uses cbmm, excluding weeks when it’s mayhem/scorched.

        • You know, we had that split before. It was called Classic Mix and was a CBMM playzone with both Control and Clash paired up.

        • Why would the kiddie pool get the adepts though?
