I actually enjoy the SBMM changes and the penalty leave changes (however it is now crippling to your team to have someone leave as it doesn't seem to get filled but he end of the match).
However. There is a DESPERATE need for freelance mode inside Crucible now.
I get that the loose SBMM is taking the individual skills of the stacks into account (or atleast it should) but from all my time playing crucible, since these changes, I have never won against a stack with my team being random.
Even a 3 stack on comms running to the same objective points cripples the opposition (my team) who are all out for their bounties trying to get that one scout kill against a 3/4/5/6 stack. This forces the team to play back which results in you getting run over by just sheer momentum. And then of course you have your 4/5/6 stacks.
I get that freelance will completely divide the crucible experience and that everyone has the right to play with their friends and clan and not be forced to go into clan wars. But still. ATM solo players are very much at the whim of being matched against a stack and no matter how well you play, your always behind and your playing out the full game knowing that you can never quite get more than enough points for the win.
Freelance may not be the right solution, but some form of matchmaking to ensure that there is better balance, wither stacks v stacks or capping fireteams being able to join against a random team.
