Dear Bungie,
I’m writing to you out of deep frustration after seeing that I’m supposed to find the time to kill 50 champions *just so I can make minimal progress on the weekly quest*. I’m not a big video game player. I only buy your game for the story. I don’t care about any of the extraneous activities, and I think it’s wonderful that more time consuming activities are available to players *who have the time and inclination to pursue them*. I have neither.
I don’t want to hear comments about some Master Ketchcrash activity. I don’t want to be told that I need to download *yet another stupid app on my phone* just so I can do the basic story quest. I don’t appreciate it and I don’t want to hear it. Save nonsense like this for people who have hours to dump into the game each week. As it is, I almost certainly won’t finish this this week, and I’ve already lost the chief pleasure I get on Tuesdays. I really look forward to the story progression and now I don’t know when I’m going to find the time to do this.
It’s perfectly fair for you to say that I’m just not your fanbase. Maybe the overwhelming majority of players demand a minimum 4 hour time commitment a week. But if that’s the case I won’t be able to continue playing.
Thank you for your time.

I have all the time in the world and I cannot bring myself to play as I have in the past. I feel Bungie is really pushing their boundaries and testing our patience in what we will put up with, so that no creativity or effort will be put into seasonal content and they maximize profits off of boring run of the mill junk they are spitting out lately. Expect more of the same this season and I expect next season will be more convoluted, further thinning the herd of players and conditioning those who stick around, to put up with more for less.
