I've experienced the whole king's fall raid in master difficulty and as I expected this is disgusting.
The amount of champions and shields popping in every encounters is ridiculous, like vow and vog master, there is no interest to suffer for just completing a seal, and adept weapons have no interest since we have crafting.
Being forced to use weapons that can deal with the right elemental shield or champions is not fun and will never be.
I'm okay to atleast accept those conditions in nightfall Playlist, but dammit bungie, when will you see that players have enough of your champions and the strong shield modifier in raids? Why don't you just take the old good format we had back in D2 vanilla ( Calus raid) even d1?
I don't think it takes you a lot of effort to just re-work the mechanics in hard mode, Since you've recycled old lost sectors for this season. I hope you will make the good choice for lightfall and do something about this major problem. I really like king's fall but not in master difficulty
Ps : you really missed an opportunity to put the others king's fall shaders, age of triumphs armor and the remaining weapons.

2 RepliesI would prefer more innovative enemies like they’d normally do with raids, though I do enjoy the addition of champions. VoG D1 had legionnaires (fanatics) Crota’s end had swordbearers ( I guess? Maybe not good example) Kings fall D1 had the adepts ( can’t remember name) acolytes that triggered surrounding acolytes to have ogre beams Wrath of the machine had just the scorch cannon guys nothing much there Then on to D2 Leviathan didn’t really introduce new enemy types, had the big doggos I guess Eater of worlds brought nothing new to the table regarding enemy types Spire of stars again nothing new Scourge of the past had berserker captains, now these guys were my favourite addition ( although fond memories of shooting adept acolytes first ) I love their mechanics of the front and back crit to take shield down Garden of salvation again not really any new enemy types Vow of the disciple again no new enemy types
