It's amazing how much controller vibration contributes to gameplay. Does anyone here play without it as well?

I turned mine off a couple months ago. I also lowered my FOV from 105 to 96 on my Xbox. It’s easier for me to control recoil for my play style.

It helps the immersion for me. So I always leave it on. But I understand some of the reasons people gave for turning it off.

I had it turned off on ps4 as it was hurting my hands. It doesn't exist on ps5 in destiny 2 , unless it's off by default

1 ReplyEdited by Kemaleon: 9/21/2022 6:16:07 PMI used to have vibration on in D1, then one night I'm sitting there with my headset on and my wife asked if I could be quieter as the baby was sleeping (in the next room), I wasn't speaking to anyone! Then I took my headset off and carried on playing. All I could hear was "Bzzzt bzzt bzzzt bzzzzzzzzzzzzt bzzz bzzzzbzzzbzzzbzzz... Bzzzzzzzzzrrrtttt". The vibration was insanely loud. I turned it off and got back to playing, I was shocked at how much my aim improved! The vibration was too much back then. These days I can play with it but only on a low setting, the downside of not having vibration is I never know when I'm taking AoE damage until its too late. Witherhoard and I are not friends in Crucible.

1 ReplyI've played with Zero vibration for nearly 6 Years, due to my nerve damage. I actually can't remember a time when I actually felt vibration.

How long does it usually take to get used to?

1 ReplyHave done for ages. Was a bit weird at first, but I prefer it without now

1 ReplyI've played without it on for years now. Once you get used to it I'd say it's better.
