Should Bungie add a map creator to Destiny 2 for PvP
Map creator accessed via a redjack in the Tower.
Create a PvP map alongside a fireteam of 2-6 people or do it solo. Communicate on the maps design, make sure it is compatible with modes such as Control, and Rift. When finished fully developing the map, upload it where players can play on it (just once) in Crucible labs. Have the players review it with stars, if garnered more then a total of 7+ stars it may then see the light of day in Quickplay. For however long Bungie deems necessary. Hopefully forever.
Every year there could also be a "Map creators of the year" award. And winners could receive a real life gift of some sort from Bungie.
Though of course to hinder troll maps from seeing the light of day, there will be requirements.
~ Spans must be located on the edge of the map, on opposite sides, wether vertical or horizontal.
~ Control zones must be all equally spread apart from each other
- Rifts must located by their respective teams spawn, but never far from their spawn only close. The spark must be placed in between the distance of both sparks.
- Heavy ammo boxes must be located near the middle of the map
- Map cannot be a copy of a map already in game, or very alike of one.
- Map must be playable with 6v6 in mind
*maps will not be used in Trials*
When put into Quickplay maps created by others can then be played in private matches with others.
Also why not a map creator for Gambit as well?
