Wait til weekly reset. Start up a fresh crucible match.
Very first match:
• Dumped in an ongoing match as replacement
• Against stacks
• Down by 25+ points from the start
Leave, and get suspended for leaving
Bungie, I don’t mind losing. I’m not good at crucible and I’m 100% fine with that! I play it for fun and to try to get better. Plus, I agree leaving matches early should be addressed.
The keyword there is leaving early.
This feels like one-sided overkill to someone who’s dumped into a losing match as a replacement without choice.
Maybe give us the ability to opt out of inclusion in ongoing matches? I don’t mind longer queues for better matchmaking. I imagine a lot of players wouldn’t.

The fact they didn't foresee this and counter. Is pure bungo bliss.

1 ReplyMy favorite thing is joining a match late and winning it. Especially against stacks

1 ReplyNope, I also suggest you don't leave the games. I can see you probably got good intentions but opting out from joining ongoing matches will make things a lot harder for everyone.

1 ReplyJoin in progress games definitely happen too often

1 ReplyJust dont leave matches sample as that if you dont want be temporary suspicious from the matches.

I still quit out screw that.

6 RepliesYou must have a history of left matches cuz I left 8 the other day with no 0enalty had to leave 3 times in a row for it to proc but for those who have quit alot more in the past are punished and good this is for ruining countless lobbies by leaving for what ever reason it only pops to ban you if your ratio of games left to games stayed is bad that's on you maybe you shouldn't be playing pvp if you have a volatile connection or if you are busy with life stuff not that you can't as long as you don't have a history of leaving matches leaving one or 2 won't affect you

1 ReplyThis has always been the solo player experience despite what matchmaking settings they have on, and it usually happens multiple times per play session. I think they mentioned a while ago that next season they will finally start matchmaking teams vs other teams so that might help a bit, but in my opinion the real reason why people quit so much is both the teambalancing and bad connection quality (due to both crossplay and poor geolocation). You can’t blame people for leaving when the game constantly does a very bad job in balancing the teams and your team doesn’t stand a chance even when there are no large premade teams in the lobby, or if the opponents don’t take damage (which happens all the time ever since crossplay was implemented).
