The Invasion mechanic is broken. Firefight was better.
I love PvP. I would play Crucible 99.9% of the time if the game rewarded you for doing so.
But pvp in gambit? How is this mechanic still in the game after such a long time?
I could understand an overshield OR radar, but both?
There’s no incentive to even bank motes. You can summon the boss while the other team has 30 motes in the bank and still lose.
I grind it out early every season so I never have to play it for a few months. I loved Firefight and that was better.
It’s a PvE mode, why dirty it with unbalanced pvp play? I have to assume for some players it’s the only chance they will ever have to get a double kill on guardians….
I abstain from using it as invading with a full Forerunner feels like hunting bots….
