I know, I know, "yoU AgReeD tO TeRMs oF SerViCe, aND iT's buNgIE's GamE, sO tHey Do whAt tHeY wANt"
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm not trying to hear that noise
DCV sucks!
Could someone explain to me how this isn't just a rip off to get you to keep buying stuff by taking away the stuff you already bought?
I want to play the Leviathan raid again
I want to do raid layers again
I want to play a lot of stuff that Bungie 'reclaimed' for reproposing again
STUFF HAS TO GO INTO THE DCV BECAUSE THE FILES WOULD BE TOO BIG AND TAKE UP ALL YOUR MEMORY
Bull-Sh!t!
I've got plenty of memory, Destiny is the only game I play.
If I wanna fill my drive with things I bought I should be able to.
Why does Bungie get to justify taking your raids and raid layers by saying 'Well, we don't want to use up all your memory, were doing this for you'
Bull sh!t!
Even if Xbox has a limitation on how large a game file can be, let us pick what we want.
Never play crucible - uninstall
Done with the campaign - uninstall
Don't like gambit - uninstall
Not going to play VoG for awhile but do want to do an old raid layer - uninstall
Boom, now you got room for the old stuff you paid for
Sure, it'd be a pain in the butt to uninstall things you're not using to install old stuff, but if memory IS the real issue, having to uninstall VoG to install Leviathan and vise versa would be a small price to pay in order to play something you bought again. If file size is the issue, give us the limit and let us pick from all the things WE PAID FOR what we want to fill the file with.
Most people finish the campaign and do go back to it. Well alright, if memory's the problem let us uninstall Witch Queen, install and replay Red War. Uninstall Red War, install Forsaken. Uninstall Forsaken, install Shadow keep. That would solve the memory problem, wouldn't it?
The memory excuse is a BS smokescreen anyway. Did you know that season of the splicer maps are still on your harddrive taking up space? Look on YouTube. People have glitched into the area. It's still on your harddrive, you just no longer can access it. If we can't play it because it's a past season, take out of the game and replace that memory space with a raid layer we paid for and want to replay. I mean, if the real reason our stuff's in the DCV is memory, why is stuff we can't access still there?
Memory's not the issue. Taking away things to do so you buy the new stuff is!
WELL, THE ENGINE'S NOT THAT GOOD AND CAN'T HANDLE THE OLD RAIDS AND LAYERS AND ALL THE NEW STUFF TOO.
Bull-sh!t!
I mean, somebody want to explain that to me?
If I'm playing VoG what in the heel difference does it make if the Leviathan and raid and raid layers are on my hard-drive or not? I'm not accessing them when I'm playing VoG, so wtf?
What does having access to play something else affect the 'engine' when I'm NOT playing it.
Would having all the old raids and layers lower the quality of my crucible game somehow?
Does having DSC affect my gambit games?
Does anything I'm NOT playing affect what I AM playing
Of course not!
Seriously, this is just a BS excuse to take our stuff away to get us to buy new stuff.
"We have to put stuff in the DCV because the things you AREN'T playing negatively affect the thing you ARE playing"
Yeah. Right.
DCV is BS.
If it's a memory thing, let us uninstall things we're not using to install the things we bought and want to replay...
BUT IT'S NOT.
If it's a, well, our engine sucks thing, and you can only have so many things you're NOT playing before it affects what you ARE playing, why didn't you come out with D3?
BECAUSE IT'S NOT!
It's a scam to remove stuff you bought, stuff to do, so you keep buying. Period!
It just makes me sad that I'll never do all the fun things again with my friends because Bungie decided to 'Reclaim' it.
Makes financial sense though. I, mean, Why let us play stuff we already paid for when they can take it away and get us to buy and buy and buy?

6 RepliesTbh it should be an option to be able to download everything that's been put in the dcv as long as you have the memory extra
