So we really not going to acknowledge that adept weapons from Vow and KF are completely worthless? Outside of the title there is zero reason to want any of those guns or to run the Master raids. Crafted rolls with enhanced perks are way better. I feel like 6 months of people telling Bungie this about vow was long enough but apparently not.
Edit: By “way better” I mean adept mods are simply not enough to warrant farming when you get literally 4 guaranteed red borders per week from these raids. It is objectively easier to craft perfect roll than farm an adept to slot adept big one in for no reason. It will not make your doom or smite slap any harder than a crafted ones imo.

If you end up getting your god roll from farming for red borders you can just stop there. The enhanced perks are not really worth the grind anyway. Same argument goes for master VoG since the timelost weapons and normal weapons will get you through the same content with equal amounts of ease.

8 RepliesIf anyone can get an adept weapon with desired rolls plus the ability to use adept mods, why on earth would they bother to grind to get 5 red borders, then grind again to get to weapon level 17 plus grind more to get materials for enhanced perks? It's a nobrainer. I'd take adept god rolls anytime over crafted ones. Adept mods > enhanced perks

8 RepliesMy adept Cataclysm can swap between bait and switch and focused fury. Here lies the fix for adept raid weapons when they drop give them 3 perks in each slot to allow swapping perks on the fly.
-
15 RepliesThat's debatable, I mean most enhanced perks are like 1% better than the base perk. Meanwhile adept weapons can use adept mods which can drastically improve a weapon as well as buff all stats when masterworked. Enhanced surrounded is the only perk that has a noticeable difference at the moment
-
5 RepliesCrafted weapons should only be available from master content otherwise it trivializes the game🤷🏼♂️ why am I gonna waste time doing master raids when I can just craft some random auto with better perks. People actually trying to pretend a +2 on an adept is noticeable lmao
-
2 RepliesAdept weapons once mastercarfted get stats in all columns and also use adept mods so it's a weird one compared to crafted weapons with enhanced perks it's prob closest they could get to balance without causing too much of an issue Are there any vids that compare raid adept weapons and crafted against each other
-
The weapon crafting system was a mistake IMO, it wouldn't be so bad if crafted weapons didn't have enhanced perks, and to make adept weapons even less special crafted weapons get the extra stats at lvl 20 like adept masterworks.

2 Repliesits for the big boi go grrr flex

1 ReplyIf Bungie wanted people to chase random rolled adepts from those raids, all they have to do is to make them drop with only the enhanced version of the perks.
-
I really don’t see the reason to do master raids at all unless you want the title Enhanced > adept Bungie really -blam!- up bad with that part, especially with adepts not counting towards red borders.
-
1 ReplyAdept Weapons with deepsight should give you the pattern on the first one. That's more than enough Incentive to farm Adepts
-
I would add two things to fix the adept problem. -a adept mod that further benefits the perks -ability to swap the perks during loadout locked activities. The first would be a trade off between the other adept mods and make the perks on par with the crafted one. The second point would just be icing and would just give a little forgiveness to someone who forgot to switch perks from pvp to pve
-
1 ReplyThen just don’t do the raid for the adept weapons. Just do the raid to say you did it and call it a day.
-
7 RepliesYou should be able to craft adept weapons

3 RepliesEdited by ryebar: 9/19/2022 3:14:17 PMIf you’re lucky with RNG running a master raid might give you an adept gun with good perks. If you’re lucky. If you’re lucky with RNG grinding the seasonal activity & Dares of Eternity you might eventually get 5 red borders and be able to craft a weapon. Then you need to level it up to put the enhanced perks on it. Either way you look at. RNG plays the biggest factor but the crafting definitely takes the most time.

2 RepliesYet people cry about not getting flawless and adept weapons from there lmao 😂 🤣

4 RepliesEdited by BOSSNONO254: 9/19/2022 10:36:07 AMNot going to lie, the adept deliverance and submission are a must get. Especially with a god roll on them. Not only do they perform well in PvP, but also PvE as well. But in terms of the other weapons with the exception of insidious. I have to agree with you on them being underwhelming/useless. But in terms of KF, I’m certain Smite of Merain and Doom of Chelchis will be great adept weapons once master mode drops. So there are still some viable weapons to farm for when it comes to adept raid loot.

3 Replies2 things 1. Master raids are worth it for the fun challenge and Title 2.I mostly agree adept weapons from raids are useless comapred to crafted apart from a few exceptions

That's exactly why I have no intention of running master raids, adept weapons aren't worth the stress of a master raid when normal weapons perform just as well, adept weapons for PvP may be worth chasing because of the stat boosts and adept mods, but for pve? Waste of time in my eyes -

The few good adepts are only worth it because they can't be crafted, or they are PVP guns that actually benefit from the stat and range mod problem is the adapted mods for pve are jokes, unless more, better pve adapt mods are made, raid adapt is a lost cause
