I made a post before about this topic, and I just want to clarify the main points. Also, there are a PLETHORA of ways to reduce effectiveness in PvP, so keep your shirt on and hear me out.
At some point(after Lightfall most likely), the Stasis subclasses should be added to and polished a bit, while sticking to the power fantasy of the element. Meaning:
1. New unique grenades, melees, and supers. More options for the player to build with, making the subclasses more dynamic and find more uses in all content.
2. Stasis shards made intrinsic to the classes, like ionic traces. Perhaps slightly reduced effectiveness, but even still. This would even out the aspects to the same number as the light subclasses.
3. At least 1 Stasis-themed buff. Stasis shards and fragments that increase ability regen don't count, because literally every class has those kind of fragments and Stasis shards are too similar to orbs, elemental wells, and ionic traces, which are not the same as Devour, Radiant, and Amplified. I even had some suggestions for Stasis buffs, like being surrounded with protective crystals or having a chilling aura. I also suggested new types of Stasis crystals and a frozen ground mechanic, just to give more paths that new abilities and weapons can use with this element.
4. Additionally, there hasn't been a new Stasis exotic weapon released in over a year. C'mon.
I'm not saying Stasis is garbage, but it definitely feels lacking in options, from abilities to exotics. If Bungie wants Stasis to be a core Damage type, then it should be added to like the others.
Again, it would be awesome if the folks at Bungie take note of this. Making content takes a while, but getting more Stasis in a year or two is 100% better than not at all. Thanks.

1 ReplyWarlocks can't even shatter stasis crystals.

Edited by Xarcell: 9/21/2022 6:10:47 PMI am a Warlock main and own in PvE with Stasis. Unfortunately, no one wants to play with me unless I run Well.

I personally still use Stasis in PVP, but it would be nice to get some new build options

They probably won't. I'm not even sure Bungie checks the feedback forms.

3 RepliesThey said they’d look at stasis once they were done with light 3.0. I’d imagine it would be next season.

10 RepliesI just want bakris to not kill the dodge cooldown

2 RepliesIt’s the newest subclass what do you expect. Did you want every exotic to revolve around stasis until the amount was even with subclass types that came out year before it? Investing even a small amount of thinking and brain power before posting might lead to worthwhile claims. I believe in you.

11 RepliesThey probably won’t. After Lightfall, the Dark and Light powers might not stay around, depending on how it ends.

2 RepliesI really wish I could replace the melee. It's too slow as a utility tool avoid damage (Literally any shoulder charge is better for traversing) and sometimes the tracking just straight up misses. I'm sick of zooming towards my opponents only for it to swerve left and miss because he jumped or something.

Yeah I agree maybe even a second super cuz behemoth pretty -blam!-

Stasis is still relatively new. Before, most of the good exotics were Solar - it wasn't until recently where they expanded to other elements. It will be a thing soon
