Tldr- as title says, momentos should make guns adept. And we need more momentos and craftable weapons.
With the release of master kings fall right around the corner i figured id post this to see if the idea gets traction and what others think.
The problem with adept weapons is that crafted weapons and enhanced perks outshine them a bit. And while bungie has eluded to adept weapons possibly dropping with enhanced perks in kings fall are you really gonna use a meh to alright rolled adept weapon with 0-2 enhanced perks or are you gonna primarily use your crafted weapon you put so much time and effort into leveling and modding that has your perfect roll on it?
My solution to this is to make momentos turn crafted weapons from that specific loot source into adept versions.
Ex-do kings fall master challenge and get an adept weapon that if red counts towards the pattern and a kings fall raid harrowed momento that if you have a crafted zaoulis bane turns it into the harrowed( adept) version of the gun.
And do this for every end game activity.
I realise some would ask about trials, gm nightfalls, and gambit since they currently have momentos but you cant craft the weapons- just make them craftable like with the dares of eternity weapons.
This not only would give more insentive to grind those end game activities to get the patterns for those weapons but would give momentos more prestige and utility since youd still have to go flawless, do the raid challenge, get lucky in gambit or beat the gm to obtain it. It would be the cherry on top and the final enhancement/shape of your weapon
