D1 strike loot needs to be reintroduced to D2

Some of the community's favorite armor and weapons in Destiny is the D1 strike specific loot and its disappointing that they have not been reintroduced into D2. I'm sure a lot of people would grind for it no matter the activity. To me it would make the most sense for them to be introduced through the 30th anniversary content since that has to do with D1. These are some possible options I came up with on how to put them in the game: 1. Replace the GoA weapons completely or have them switch on a weekly basis similar to GM's. since there are only 4 weapons currently in GoA you can add 2 to make it 6 one week and 6 the next week and mix them together so you have some old and some new. I made an example of this in the link of a table I made. The weapons were put together at random and the encounters they drop from is also random. 2. Put the armor in regular DoE, not sure how though. 3. Have chests in the treasure hoard for the armor. (1 chest for each class and have it be a random drop) 4. Maybe for the legendary version of DoE chest would spawn after each encounter and have a chance to drop 1 of the 5 armor pieces for the class you are playing as. (Except warlock since they only have 4 I think.) Maybe just once a week so people don't farm just one encounter but this could lead to people getting angry if they have done it 20 times and still haven't gotten the armor piece they want. If anyone has any other ideas of how to introduce the loot into the game other than the 30th anniversary content please share. TLDR: D1 Strike loot should be introduced through either GoA, DoE, or the Treasure Hoard.

  • No need. Wet have tonnes of guns today. There is no reason to go into any activity if got your weekly award. Also if those will be crafteble then they will be no good. If they won't, turn they must have pretty good perks. But if them do, they become meta and Bungie will nerf those perks or replace perks in guns (yes even in obtained ones). So there no reason to do anything. Because Destiny 1 was cosmos opera, Destiny 2 is sitcom for teenagers with week story lines.
