maybe act like a AAA game studio and stop using peer to peer connection? Idk, just a thought. You don't need a degree in any kind of computer science, programming or engineering to know that your server system is absolutely pathetic for the size of your game as well as your available resources.
-
I'm feeling it. Trying to run Grasp of Avarice right now and the servers just aren't holding together.
-
1 Replyp2p is bad, but if have consistent problems on destiny yeah is on you ,
-
16 RepliesI can have 3 different machines in the same house, on the same internet, all playing simultaneously without issue. It's a you problem. Configure your gear properly.
-
2 RepliesJust do what I do, look for other games for a multiplayer experience. Destiny works best in the pve department. Pvp is a hot mess and thats never going to change.
-
Preach it!
-
Lololololol! -Bungo *laughs in Sony*
-
Whenever it says can't connect to server - it means Bungie's servers.
-
As long as idiots are running around with their Paid-For Everworse crap every season, BungLe isn't going to fix Jack s**t. Thats the reason. They're making millions a year doing almost nothing, and they're not going to stop.
-
New here they been bad since D1 lol
-
19 RepliesServers are just fine. It's your own internet that's shitty
-
Same will be true at the end of 2023.
-
6 RepliesPeer to peer connection can work wonders, provided they know what they're doing. Warframe uses peer to peer and works absolutely fine by separating players based on region and ping limits
-
Wait, Bungie has servers??
-
34 RepliesYour idea may sound logical, but it's a lot more complex than you take it to be. Bungie already stated why this is not feasible because Destiny is a unique case of singleplayer meets multiplayer: https://www.pcgamer.com/the-strange-science-of-destiny-2s-uniquely-complicated-netcode/
-
I feel like 2025 will roll on by and this post will still be relevant
-
1 ReplyAlmost like they know you guys will Buy DLCs no matter how bad Destiny 2 gets.
-
If you still think there servers are going to change then your extremely naive
-
What it all boils down to is that Bungie knows most of you have accepted how things are and they never wanted to invest that much time or money in this game in the first place. Just looking at how poorly the base game was designed that has affected the game up until this day says enough.
-
4 RepliesIt’s also the fact that there is no region lock either. Consistently playing against people in other countries across the ocean in an antiquated p2p environment is not fun, for anyone involved.
-
1 ReplyWait it’s almost the end of 2022!?
-
Edited by Kouz_MC: 9/18/2022 6:35:51 AMYou can go try the new CoD today. It’s 20y Bungie is stuck with this system and it’s not going to change.
-
Show ‘em!
-
2 RepliesGames been out for 5 years and it basically has an expiration date. Peer-to-peer isn't going anywhere.

Welcome to Destiny 2🤣🤣🤣

1 ReplyEdited by RdZDuBZ: 9/17/2022 10:28:14 PMThey really need to upgrade console servers because lately I've been getting kicked on some games like gambit and crucible and so freaking annoying. And I check if its my internet and it's not. Just plz fix it bungie.
