Introducing FOMO 2.0

Do you feel an unexplained but deep sense of deja vu when playing Destiny 2, like you've seen all these places before or killed that boss in another time and place? Or when you may hear someone say the words 'iron' or 'banner' you immediately respond with 'ruined'? Do you know where every item, friend, or enemy is in vast areas of the game but can't find where you put your car keys in your own house? Are you angry you can't stream the story missions like they're episodes of a Netflix series? Does all of this make you frustrated and want to watch Tik Tok dance videos instead of obsessively playing the game like you used to? Well, friend, you used to suffer from a pernicious affliction known as FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out, known going forward as FOMO 1.0), and want to break free of it. You want: FOMO 2.0! Or Finally Over My Obsession With FOMO 2.0 you can look at the overly familiar roster of strikes, dungeons, raids, Gambit, and other things and say, "No, I'm good", or say "You know, maybe I should finally cut the grass or fix the toilet like I've been meaning to for weeks" instead of logging in. FOMO 2.0 allows you to think and breathe and reacquire your social skills. It's literally a breath of fresh air when you step outside instead of playing. But wait, you're saying "How can I get this wonderful product?" Well, that's the great thing. You probably already have it. You just have to see the forest that was being hidden by the trees and admit to yourself that maybe you actually want to do other things than immerse yourself in Destiny 2. That you probably won't miss anything at all by doing so. FOMO 2.0 can be yours anytime you want. Like right now. Seriously. Stop reading this post and immediately go do something else. Let the regenerating effects of FOMO 2.0 wash over you and get you back in touch with that inner enthusiasm that has been ground out of you by farming for stuff in Destiny 2. FOMO 2.0 "You knew this was coming one day, didn't you?" Disclaimer: FOMO 2.0 might not be for everyone. Results can vary. Side-effects can include eye sensitivity to outside light, withdrawal from energy drinks and snack food, strange looks from people who thought you had disappeared, and trips to the hospital after teabagging someone after an argument. Other side-effects can include playing with pets and kids you previously told to get lost, clean clothes and better hygiene, and getting used to all the sights and sounds of that mythical place, 'Outside'. Consult your significant other or that tiny but insistent inner voice that whispers to you "one more raid and I'll get the Vex" to see if FOMO 2.0 is right for you. Warning: FOMO 2.0 is usually not permanent and needs regular boosters from official Bungie content to remain effective, but be aware that FOMO 1.0 can easily make FOMO 2.0 instantly disappear with the application of new Destiny 2 trailers with lots of Guardians jumping and shooting things to the beat of dramatic music. (The real disclaimer: I wrote this because I am really tired of seeing how the game is reusing entire swathes now of the 'vaulted' guns, raids, enemies, and locations. My enthusiasm for the game has taken a big hit, for now. I thought I'd provide some feedback about how the recycled content is affecting my attitude and enjoyment of the game but I didn't want to post some rant. Also, I'm aware things like Lightfall could re-ignite my interest. But for now, the game is stale and leaning way too hard on recycled content).
