Bought Lightfall, now locked out of the game

I've already posted here before about being unable to play because of error code plum. This issue has persisted even after a clean install of destiny. There is no malicious software running on my PC. I have no other anti cheat running in the background. My connection is stable. There is no reason that I should not be able to play this game. But the error code gives me less than 10 minutes of play time before I'm consistently booted back to the start screen. This is especially frustrating after having just bought the deluxe edition of the next expansion and I'm really at a loss for what to do, since I can't even get my money back for that either. I'm still looking for answers but I don't feel like there's any solution other than to just stop playing the game.
