I don’t know about “serious help”. It could use some tweaking, but I don’t feel it is grossly underpowered. Especially when compared to what it was in Arc 2.0.
What it does though is require you to build into it far more than you needed to before. They nerfed aspects of Arc 2.0, to give it back in an exotic, or require we get amped first, and then we have to reduce build diversity to run more specific mods and use specific arc only weapons.
The supers didn’t get weaker, but they also didn’t get stronger. While exotics have come along that have boosted many other supers around them. I feel like Geomags need a rework, to not only boost the damage, but maybe shorten the damage window so it actually has more of a chance to get all its damage out to a single target. And storm trance needs a buff to minors and majors. And it needs landfall left alone in its arc 2.0 state. So many other roaming supers can shut storm trance down in one hit, and many from a distance out of the reach of storm trance. And tickle fingers is not a 1-shot. It takes multiple ticks of damage. So landfall is it’s best defense against another super.
