Let's start of with this... My most recent experience where I joined a group from LFG posting about needing one for a fresh kings fall. I show up. Heard and good to go on my warlock.
They only have 5 when I get there which is odd but as I wait there's a horse of 5em getting in my face. I move to grab the orb then the side and then I just wait for the 6th. When the 6th shows up I am straight up team killed. I mean I seen it coming but the fact that something that was made as a perk to move your own player around is now used for team killing is something that needs acted upon.
The guy that did it had less experience all season than I put in in 2 days. At the time I was 370 ish to thier 37. And splat. Dead. I left the group as I am not going tho any dps with someone that might at a whim think it's funny to team kill in a raid.
In fairness it was better find out early than waste hours on that. However I take issue with the fact that this is getting more and more wide spread.
It happens on almost every playlist I go to. I get that this is subjective, however the tools to do it were not built for the main role they now serve. It's a great nod to the halo sword glitch but team collision when that perk is active should be turned off for the whole 1.5seconds it is up.
The more wide spread the perk the more likely a team killer will use it for fun. With the sword being custom made now and you only need the one this problem has only gotten worse. I don't get why team killing in the middle of a gambit is funny or your own raid team. For all of you that might support this and think it's funny, let's see what would happen if we turned on player collision for all weapons in all activities.
Sorry about your kd man I was shooting through you to kill him... But it was Soo funny the way you ragdolled off of the map it will make a great clip.
My point is that teammates are sometimes not there to help you. There are a sleeper agent for your objective, however while they can't kill you directly with ANY other weapon because the devs knew people will team kill. They made this perk that does it cabal style.
Please know I don't want the perk removed just something needs done about the player collision as for me is the season of Solo.

Find people who don't do it and play with them. You can add me if you like I don't even own this stupid sword.

FiendBungie hates warlocks - old
They nerfed the titan yeet but you can do the same thing with eager edge. -
Eliplease check my stats, I need validation - old

1 ReplyEdited by Ion, Disciple of Melvin: 9/16/2022 1:47:22 PMDisable player collision? Yes, it’s annoying. Getting clumped up during garage phases with rockets is a bane of my existence. But because of teammate griefing? No. Eager Edge is already neutered as it it.

It’s just a video game. Let’s learn not to be so overly sensitive….
-
Literally nothing needs to be done to it. I dunno why this is such a fuss.
-
1 ReplyA bigger question is how you’re already level 376 this season
-
Wow this is the first Karen bot I have read a post by.
-
1 ReplyNeeds more yeeet I say
-
maybe u should just start your own lfg group and state no horse play no fun do what u say or boot then u ca have a full group of karens and u all life unhappily after
-
1 ReplyYou might literally be the only person in existence to get overly offended by the fun of someone messing with eager edge
-
been able to team kill since d1 with sparrows, get over being team killed in a raid group you joined as fill for, if they wanted to do the objective you joined near last that's on you
-
Faaaar too much writing for a -blam!- post.
-
the changes need is player getting good
-
2 RepliesWaaaah
-
Well duh obviously you'd get pissed so easily since you seem to have no life outside of this game
-
Just leave the game and never comeback
-
WE DO A LITTLE TROLLING.
-
TLDR It's fine and you're complaining over a non issue
-
Wow you're really mad about this. Go outside lol
-
370? Go outside

19 RepliesSo at the very start of the raid, before you even began to open the door, you were eager edged? Mate that's called banta learn to have a laugh and do it back to him and crack some jokes and actually enjoy messing around inbetween objectives and you'll find the game so so much more fun. Almost 0 people are actually genuinely griefing with eager edge, they're out there I'll give you that but in an absolutely miniscule amount. Frankly if someone left my raid at the start because of getting eager edged once I'd be glad the stick in the mud is gone so we can find someone more fun sorry man

1 ReplyBecause of this post, I am going to queue into vanguard right now and team kill the first poor blueberry I see
-
TLDR - extreme casual can’t dodge a teammate in game.

How about this one. I was running the flawless exodus crash step of the seasonal quest recently (with randoms). We all get to the boss arena intact, ready to claim our spoils. Then, all of a sudden, our warlock hops onto a crate about ten feet from the edge of the map, while waiting for the boss to spawn. Out of nowhere, in comes our solar Titan, hammer-striking him off the map, to his death. Though we were not mic’d up, I could hear his maniacal laughter as the warlock fruitlessly tried to float his way back to safety. And then I realized why I heard it. Because it was me. Because I was the solar Titan and it was -blam!- hilarious 😆.

I love killing my team mates. I was in a GM with a clan mate, while he was shooting a champion I said "watch out for the champion to your right" he looked right and said "where" and I said "right here" and shoulder charged his butt right off bridge 🤣🤣🤣
