Arc 3.0 Warlock, Lets Make a List

Short: Arc 3.0 Warlock heavily underperforms. As Warlock mains many of us understand we've been relegated to the role of Well slave for so long that it'd be nice to be able to effectively fill a role with a super that can compete with Gathering Storm, or Thundercrash. Currently that is not the case whatsoever. Furthermore we lack the utility in abilities for effective and adaptive synergies due to the cold disdain our aspects were shown in the update. The only (slightly) saving grace being Lightning Surge. Lets publicly address these shortcomings and request the spec to be made relevant. Chaos Reach: Since it's extreme nerf to super energy refund upon cancel Chaos Reach has remained miles behind the pack of burst supers. The refund being the saving grace for many encounters as you were previously able to clear certain enemy groups/champions or use it in short burst windows. No longer the case, and considering it's less damage and needs to be channeled it's effectively detrimental to use. Arc Soul: Pretty much Arc Soul is what we are a battery for, yet it doesn't provide a lot of damage and is only realistic in stationary damage windows with the trade off cost of the rift cast animation. To get synergy we have to be amplified, if we're focusing on being amplified we aren't dealing damage in Boss scenarios. There are such a vast amount of perks that are adept at add clear. Adding a conditional effect (Shooting Faster) into our spec that relies on killing adds is so redundant it takes away from class viability. Ionic Traces: Once again conditional effects, meet the condition get a buff. The condition is the problem, we have no direct power gains that Titans and Hunters got, no this grenade now does this as well, your x damage now jolts. Our aspects are infallibly handicapped conditionals that require packs of enemies to trigger for minimal gain. Aspects: We were served back 2 of our granted pre-existing class specific passive abilities with no progressive changes. Lightning Surge being a cool ability and situationally useful in PvP but totally not rational in endgame content and or most Raiding. I feel like if they just followed a similar path of Void 3.0 while changing the abelites to be more Arc themed with non-kill conditional ability synergies we'd have something interesting, Currently it's totally hollow compared to the AWESOME rework Arc Titans & Hunters got.
