Keep in mind they also said that maps don't play a major role in why people leave in the latest twab LOL

Edited by Spawn Of Apathy: 9/16/2022 9:12:21 PMMaybe because those leaving as soon as the match starts is relatively small compared to people leaving a kill or two in, or much later into the match as the scores are higher but one team is clearly building a substantial lead. I don’t know, I haven’t seen the data. Since nobody is given a questionnaire when they quit there may not really enough to go on. So Bungie is just making assumptions based on several data points. And they may not be seeing much higher quit rates on any one map vs another.

That map is probably one of the worst. It is just too large of a map in all the wrong ways. It really only has one open area sniping lane and most of the fighting happens in close quarters which is amazing cause it is one of the biggest maps in the game

I really like having a large part of the map that justifies a scout rifle. I enjoy combat all around that map. I don’t know if I’d go so far to say it is a favorite, but I definitely don’t hate it. The map also doesn’t feel oppressive for any play style or because of any play style. You’re not at the mercy of snipers, because you can avoid them in the closer range sections of the map. You’re not at the mercy of shotgun rushers, because you can play more in the open. The biggest issue I have is it is the map doesn’t really flow. It’s just three parallel lanes. Long range. Mid range. Short range. Which we already have that kind of layout with midtown. Which I also enjoy. I wouldn’t have liked more of a spin on the concept. Maybe utilizing tiered levels, like some Halo maps of old.
