I'm hoping there can be some feedback or at least some awareness brought to this topic.
I hope in the future, hopefully with Lightfall, we'll see an overhaul to the Mods system in how we can obtain mods we don't already own.
Waiting on Ada-1 to have that one specific mod we've been looking for is demoralizing, especially when it's not a day where we can log in, so we miss the opportunity for who knows how long, 6 months? a year?
Can we have some discussion how this could change in the future & what some alternative options are?
Ideally, it would be great if we could just simply purchase unowned Mods right from the Collections page for this, but I understand that there may be reasoning why this has never been the case, eg. concurrent player counts/quotas.
Could we then see Mods being as drops from certain activities? Playlist activities? Nightfall higher difficulties?
This comes from a long-time player, but I sympathize for New Lights in this, as well. To only start into a new game/world and be hopelessly left behind and at the whims of what becomes available for purchase on that day, when I'm sure they are already struggling with building the currencies of the game to be able to make those purchases.
Hope this gains some traction to lead into further discussion, internal & w/ community.
