Anyone who is getting stomped leaving actually benefit the losing team. Control is still heavily dependent on KD. Cannon fodder helps you lose the match faster.

Its actually worse to quit as you effectively push another player from your team into a 1v2 constantly so an average or good player can then be easily outgunned and lose majority of the rest of their engagements due to 1 player bailing.

It sounds good in theory but someone with a kda below one is definitely a net negative to your score. If control was only an objective game mode were kd didn’t matter then I would agree having a body just throw itself at the objective is better but dying in control still matters too much.

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 9/15/2022 2:10:54 AMIt does I 100% agree but 2 0.5s will still beat a 1.0 to 1.5 more often than not unless they are thumbless. Also while the enemy is taking on/distracted by the 0.5 gives their other team members an advantage. Im not proud of it but Ive definiely used team mates as meat shields before when it was an advantage to my team as a whole (ie when the opposing team clues on and teams up on them allows multikill oppertunity with supers, rockets, nade launchers etc.)

I think people underestimate how many times 0.5s just throw away their lives due to just bad placement and overextending. Just my opinion but a 1.5 could easily 2v1 some 0.5s .

Some yes but they are still distracting that 1.5 player if the team with the 2 0.5s has at least a couple half decent players they can still benefit but I agree with what you are saying a few things have to align and be in place to capitalise and benefit from those distractions I agree
