I’ve just recently started playing my titan more and am wondering what your favorite armor pieces are. Lorely doesn’t count RIP

3 RepliesWhy, you work at Bungie and want to know what to nerf next on the Titan? LOL
-
Cuirass of the falling star - pve
and loreley in team play pve
Synthoceps - pvp
the range can make great difference
-
2 RepliesSweet Business and War Rig. I don't like to reload.
-
Heart of Inmost Light. Great in all difficulty levels, spam you’re abilities with better damage/hit points, and works with every subclass. What’s not to like?
-
Ashen Wake.
I’ve just recently started playing my titan more and am wondering what your favorite armor pieces are. Lorely doesn’t count RIP
If you have a high recov and resist build for your Titan you won't really notice the lorely nerf so I still count it as my favorite along with falling star and the helm of Saint 14

PvE synthoceps, PvP mk44 or antheus wards.
-
3 RepliesSeverance Enclosure. It makes powered melees release an explosion, really useful if you want to gain territory by using a throwing hammer that spawns a sunspot.
-
Skullfort + Ballistic slam was too fun not to use in all PvE content. It’s a shame they removed inertia override with 3.0, because not having to manually reload AND getting a damage buff after every melee was great
-
I really like Second Chance. Needs a buff that makes it a one-hit for barrier champs in all content imo but I really like the extra throwing shield.
-
right now with arc, been running Dunemarchers, you run faster and your melee lightnings through many, it's fun
-
Dunemarcher gaming
-
Peridine greaves, even use them in pve especially this season
-
i really like path of burning steps but i do want hoil
-
Synthoceps. Literally punching them with extra power is fun.
-
This season its peacekeeper. So fast...

2 RepliesIf you're just getting into titan, as many have said already, Heart of Inmost Light should be a top priority. Works wonders with all subclasses. I almost never take it off, extremely useful all the way up to and including the hardest end game content. Once you get a feel for the gameplay loop it's very satisfying constantly spamming enhanced abilities.

2 RepliesSynthoceps

favorite? peacekeepers for pvp Idk for pve synthoceps or path of burning steps I got a Borrowed time with graverobber and swashbuckler. It just pairs perfectly with solar 3.0.
-
Lorely is BAE
-
Probably icefall mantles really enjoy the ice look plus the 100 overshield and 62% damage resistance which in pve allows you to survive a lot of things.
-
1 ReplyGotta say either Heart or Armamentarium. Also love the build Synergy with Hoarfrost-z and stasis

1 ReplyEdited by mchailstorm: 9/15/2022 1:26:26 PMAre you inferring that there are other exotics besides Dunemarchers?

2 RepliesSynthoceps. Buffing melee damage when surrounded and extending the range of our normal punch considerably is really useful in a melee focused build like Void or Arc- what I call "punch titans". The extra melee range is extra useful in PVP, you get the jump on people before they think you're close enough to swing on them. For Solar I used to use The light fireheart chest thing that makes your abilities recharge way faster but now that they have such good uptime anyway I'm not finding it as useful and I haven't figured out which exotic is best for Solar. I don't own any of the newer ones you get from lost sectors yet, I haven't been farming for them and I haven't been lucky the handful of times I decided to go solo one. Wormgod Carress is similar to Synthoceps except its a stacking damage buff based on how many melee kills you do before the buff expires up to five stacks. But it doesn't have the range and it doesn't help instantly with 100% uptime when you're mobbed, you have to beat some stuff down to trigger it. I'm not sure if the damage buff is more, less, or equal to synthoceps. Also it takes to shaders oddly and the green gemstones don't change color ever. Synthoceps also looks good with a wide range of armor sets and has a couple ornaments so between the three appearance options I'm usually able to make them fit with whatever else I'm wearing.

Wormgod Caress and Severance Enclosure. Both are fun to use. I wish we can get an ornament for Wormgod Caress though. Every single dark shader looks like -blam!- on it.

2 RepliesEdited by Smough: 9/15/2022 1:24:31 PMPath of burning steps with the ornament. Mostly because it’s one of the few titan exotics that actually looks pretty good, and even though it’s not the best exotic the effects are still nice to have.
