You are not forced to play.
Sadly its been a long time coming, quitters ruin the match for others, doesnt matter if its a competitive mode or not.
Sure some maps are bad get over it matches last 10-15 minutes.
Traffic can be bad on the way to work too but I wont quit my job over it.
I see many people saying sometimes they have to quit for "legitimate" reasons such as Kids, old pets, emergencies etc (even certain streamers have said they quit quickplay matches for these reasons yet these never seem to pop up while they are playing comp/trials.......smells a bit BS to me)
Funny thing is these issues only seem to arise for players on the side that is currently behind.........again smells like pure BS.
While I dont doubt on the odd occasion something does actually happen forcing a player to legitimately quit the time it would take to deal with the issue would likely render the small 30 min lockout a non issue.
Only pathetic quitters who quit for selfish reasons and want to immediately re-queue will feel the full sting as they should.

I have never seen someone compare work to a video game lmfao. You literally just compared something people do for enjoyment to your job that you have to live. But I guess if you view this game as a job then your comparison would be right....
-
Some people actually play games and stream for a job, while I would never do it personally I also enjoy my job so.....
-
Thats entirely different and no where near associated with how you were comparing the two.
-
Edited by SolarCerberuS: 9/15/2022 7:41:28 AMYou are the one that whinged about the comparisson. I was merely getting at they are both annoying and to get over it.
-
Your comparison was horrible and in no way gets people to side with you.
-
Not really you just missed it entirely, And I dont need others to side with me, especially the likes of you.
-
Lmfao then why comment in the first place? And no I didn't miss it, your point is just that bad. Keep comparing a recreation and past-time activity used for fun and relaxing to a job though. No one will agree with you with that logic.
-
Firstly I was actually comparing it to heavy traffic, just happened to be on the way to work so yes you did 100% miss it. And its a public forum so I will comment if I want, If you dont like the comment as it doesnt suit your opinion, not my problem.
-
Seems to be your problem with how upset you are getting lmfao. And you commented on "quitting your job over it", so you are comparing it to your job.
-
Edited by SolarCerberuS: 9/16/2022 2:35:49 AMNot upset, mildly humored is all And traffic was the cause could have had any destination Ill try to speak in layman terms in the future for you
-
Then why didn't you use any destination? It was because you wanted to compare quitting a job to gaming. Please do use layman's next time. That should help your put your horrible thinking skills into barely logical sentences next time. I'd also try to add some actual grammar and punctuation too, doesn't need to be essay level grammar and punctuation but just a little shows you have some intelligence.
-
Edited by SolarCerberuS: 9/16/2022 2:58:09 AMIm sure your used to it by now but wrong again, Im at work most of my driving is to and from work hence why I used work at the end. And the old grammar and punctuation go to of someone with zero valid input clap clap. Who $hit in your cereal this morning lmao
-
Still doesn't change the facts. No one is forced to play, just like backing out is being abused for the wrong reasons. You seem to have skated all around that though.
-
Lmfao you thought my silence on that portion was me disagreeing with him? I completely agree with people backing out should get a penalty. I was pointing out how stupid it is to compare a recreational activity to a job. Maybe next time dont make random assumptions about someone's viewpoint without asking them first?
-
Edited by XxMajestrosxX: 9/16/2022 7:01:30 AMI mean an analogy is an analogy whether you’d agree or not. The analogy got the point across, I don’t understand your necessity to dictate how a specific analogy is used. I understood it and you did too, apparently enough to scold him for how it was used. You can say it’s bad all you’d like, just as English professors can disagree on a specific element of the language. But why harass the man over a simple analogy when it actually worked out and you’re just nit-picking his language.
-
Comparing x and y when neither are equal or related isn't an analogy.
-
Given this game has been said to be a job, it can be related. On the topic of them being equal, well there’s always the people who actually do play destiny as a job, and making money off of it to support them or their family. Ergo, the analogy stands and you’re trying to nit-pick because you didn’t like the analogy.
