You all
- force us into SBMM so anyone over a 1.3 k/d is forced into lobbies that are unforgiving, laggy, unfun, and full of hostile players who are also unhappy they're forced into ultra meta world championships
- force us into the most unpopular, large, boring maps that don't encourage engagement and instead take more time to traverse from spawn, to the hot zones, only to die from someone far outside of your range who was posted up waiting for you
- force us into staying in these unfun matches on unfun maps by banning us if we quit
I'm not sure anyone working on PvP right now understands the fundamental pain points we are having, my benefit of the doubt is gone
Bungie i'm sorry i have a 1.8 k/d and i'm apparently the problem in pvp for everybody but congrats, problem solved: i quit pvp, this sucks. i hope that was the solution y'all wanted! can't suspend me if i don't play.

2 RepliesBungie: Introduces SBMM (like 99% of shooters) to protect average and low skill players. Community: High skill lobbies are terrible. People keep quitting and It makes bad matches worse. Bungie: fixes the part high skill players dislike that’s not just “go back to CBMM” by adding quitting penalties to reduce the number of people leaving matches. Community: Why do we have penalties for leaving matches? Honestly unless you keep quitting matches over and over it shouldn’t be an issue and is literally working to combat what a lot of high skill players have been complaining about. A better strategy would be to get Bungie to fix their terrible Lobby Balancing algorithm. Maybe a long-term goal of changing how the high skill community treats the game (how frequently people feel they need to sweat) would be good too, but that’s never happened before so I wouldn’t get my hopes up.
