Oh no, there's actually consequences to rage quitting now! The horror!

Edited by Cerillion: 9/14/2022 12:41:04 PMIt’s casual crucible. Why would I ever play disjunction or pantheon in casual where the point is to have fun? And SBMM brought so many terrible connection matches- why would I stay in a match like that? There’s DOZENS of reasons people are leaving matches and only 1 of them has to do with rage or being stomped. Narrow-Minded opinions like those are why this crap keeps happening. And if you think it only extends to crucible you’re high because they’re making plenty of equally brainded, poorly thought out, changes to PvE lately too. (Example- champions)

I love the argument "it's a casual playlist". Be that as it may, you're still screwing over the rest of your team by leaving, so you deserve to be penalized. Don't you hate it when your teammates quit?

The few times that I’ve run control? No not really. I am not bothered but the end result of 6v6 because I’m not a trash player QP farming to ego himself.

Edited by Cerillion: 9/14/2022 1:18:11 PMPenalized, sure. Banned? No. And yes, I do hate it when I’m in 3s. I don’t give a -blam!- in 6s because I’m not in 6s to win games I’m playing 6s to relax.

A temporary ban that lasts what, a half hour? You'll live.

At first. You realize it grows right? Besides- the problem isn’t skill based matchmaking most of the time when people leave it’s because of the map or lag. And what happens if I disconnect huh? I still deserve a ban? No, this is a cop out for bungie. Crucible is in a terrible state and instead of taking responsibility or trying to fix it to prevent people from wanting to leave in the first place (give us new maps, better matchmaking, and dedicated servers) they’re trying to instead force you to stay in the game that they screwed you over by putting you in in the first place. That’s not going to make people stay, it’s going to make people not want to play at all in the first place. It’s devoid of any responsibility, it’s a band-aid cop-out that they’re using to fool near-sighted people.

Control is NOT competitive. At all.

Never said it was lol. But your experience is still degraded by teammates rage quitting.
