New Lights and Mods, a Suggestion for Unlocks

Hello, I just wanted to share some idea as to how I think acquiring mods for New Lights could be much more engaging and helpful vs just buying them from Ada or Gunsmith. It is commonly known that "good mods" only come around every so often through these vendors and if you miss your chance to buy as a New Light then you may not get another chance for months. My suggestion could help resolve some of these FOMO issues for New Lights that tend to get burnt out too quickly trying to acquire everything they need to build craft properly. Thanks to anyone -blam!-, just opening up a conversation on the topic, thanks! My idea is to connect mods with Triumphs. I am sure this has been suggested as an Idea before but this is what it would look like, generally.. I think connecting mods to triumphs/guardian ranks would be perfect for new lights. For example, to get the Icarus Mod, the triumph could look like "Kill X amount of enemies while airborne." This teaches how to shoot from the air and what weapons may be good or bad at that. Shows some value to airborne effectiveness stat on our weapons, and once completed the player is awarded with the mod and that helps them kill from the air easier. The new player also learns which weapon types are good in air or bad in the air while they try to complete this Triumph. Another example would be the Hip Fire Grip mod. This Triumph could simply be "Get X kills while shooting from the hip with X weapon type, X weapon type, and X weapon type." This will show the new player what archetypes may be strong at hip firing vs ones that may not be as good. The reward from this Triumph would of course be the mod but why not drop a weapon with Hip Fire perk as well so they can test both a new mod and a new perk. In my personal opinion, the mod chase and acquisition could be more fun for new players in Destiny. Tying mods to Triumphs that could specifically teach the strengths and weaknesses of mods or weapons would be doubly beneficial for New Lights as they earn a reward and learn a lesson at the same time. Motto for this idea is to "Learn and Earn" and this can be applied to at least majority of mods in Destiny. Again thank you to anyone reading this. I apologize if this is an idea that is used frequently, this is maybe my third time on forums and I have never heard anyone pitch this idea before. Thanks!(:
