No offence but after doing enough dares to reset it and only having 2 of 5 patterns required with NO WAY to purchase them is bloody stupid, rng causes burnout.
I’m so over rng in this game, it’s also infuriating that it doesn’t take your time spent seriously.
I’m not a streamer bungo, I don’t have 10 hrs a day to grind dares, actually stupid how low the drop rate is. Seriously needs a buff, it’s a joke. Season of the pointless grinding, grind until you hate the game 🤦🏼♂️

They could just hand you a god roll bxr then watch you dismantle it because he the perks aren't enhanced. You realize enhanced perks are mostly not useful and the few that are op will be nerfed just give them time and it will be, oh we needed to "balance" that out...

I haven't really finished my weapon crafting because they didn't do it right. 5 deepsight weapons! Bungie thinks we're working 12+ hours for them, farming us huh. Life is more important than a video game.

Yep instead of working on new exciting content, they just lock you into grinding the same old stuff until you despise it. They’ve been doing this for a long time now. Same strikes, same crucible and gambit maps, same garbage pvp matchmaking, and the icing on the cake: recycled rewards. The cherry on top: penalizing you for quitting one of their poorly designed game modes.

1 ReplyHey Bot, never thought it'd see you here

1 ReplyThe 1st round of dares grinding before they added crafting was enough. It should have been vaulted.

Season of the pointless grinding, grind until you hate the game 🤦🏼♂️[/quote] "But Bungie is improving the experience for the players playing destiny" Since Activision left this is what Bungie has done for over 2 years now to "improve the experience". 1, Constantly looking for ways to add RNG to anything they can in the game. 2, Constantly raising the cost for items because of streamers and no lifers stacking up material. 4, Constantly looking for ways to remove what benefits the player base. 5, Constantly looking for ways to add more padded playtime. I could easily make a much larger list of how Bungie cares about the experience players playing their game but I think you get the point. Destiny is not about what the original Bungie was aiming for when it comes to the player base playing destiny. Staten explained it best and this Bungie literally destroyed that concept.

Edited by D-lyfe: 9/13/2022 8:59:29 PMYou actually don’t need to play 10 hours a day just collect keys an boxes, just do the weekly horse bounty’s for boxes on each character, every clear gives keys an the boxes also has a chance for keys which is pretty decent drop rate, eventually you will get them.

Yeah this game sucks.

3 RepliesTook me 2 and a half weeks to start playing other games, a new record. I'll log in for the weekly story stuff then I'll be dipping out. As you say, season of the pointless grind.

2 RepliesIt pains me to admit that pay MMO prices for a non-MMO experience just so I can see the Light and Darkness Saga to the very end at this point. I purchase each season solely to level to 100 and play the story missions. You have no idea how badly I want this story to come to a close.

1 ReplyEdited by FluffyBunnyFeet: 9/13/2022 2:04:54 PM75 runs and many, many keys later, I unlocked all weapons from Dares. I would have quit as soon as I got Wastelander and BXR, but of course the BXR was the last weapon unlocked. Pure pain, especially after already grinding Dares repeatedly when the 30th dropped for the ship and Forerunner catalyst. I won't be playing much Dares anytime soon.

That's why the light level increases have gotten smaller and there is little grind to be "raid ready" each new season. Instead of walking away it has turned us into a sort of casual that keeps your characters just enough to be sort of relevant when a new season drops.
-
My problem with dares are regular weapon drops. At least Give us 1 guaranteed weapon per run!!! I don't mean the 30th a. weapons, but the weapons on rotation that week. If someone wants eg. an Ikelos smg, they need INSANE LUCK to get it to drop and have a decent roll on it. You can run dares 4 times in a row and get armor to drop only. Terrible design.
