Edited by Mister_Wrecked: 9/12/2022 3:20:28 PMSame thing I do every time they nerf something I use regularly: Change. Adapt. Find the new optimal DPS. What I wouldn't do is mald all over the forums, Reddit, and Twitter over it.

Edited by Kemaleon: 9/13/2022 4:39:36 AMI'd carry on living my life, same as I did when Anarchy got nerfed. I think its a valid argument about Divinity, personally I think the crit buff should remain but its own damage should be nerfed a bit. I know its hard for people to accept losing something so strong but you have to look at the overall health of the game. Last season's 'Classy Restoration' mod allowed me to solo flawless 2 dungeons and a whole bunch of other end-game content (Hunter). I got my fair share out of it but I knew I was on borrowed time. Quite surprised Titans Lorely didn't get a slight nerf to be honest. Its coming. As an example of the Power-creep that cheapens the better content, my friends and I had not run Deep Stone Crypt for a while but ran through it the other day cos some of them still need Eyes. It was a joke with the Resilience increase since we last did it. King's Fall is also too easy for the same reason (in my opinion, although Warpriest is a bit of an -blam!-). If its left as it is then fine, if it gets a nerf then we'll just adapt. It may take a little longer to kill some bosses but it won't stop us killing em.

Just nerf everything to the point were we just punch -blam!-. Make all the cry baby streamers happy !
-
I'd adapt, like normal people do.

I’d be annoyed, but mainly because the reasoning given for why it should be nerfed is dumb as hell. We don’t use it much on any raid as is except ones which poorly designed bosses like Taniks so it wouldn’t really change much. It’s only real use is the crit bubble in my opinion. Like it’s good on oryx because even though his chest is a crit spot it doesn’t always count shots as precision shots so divinity just assured triple tap activates.

I would hope that after a nerf they look into making any of the other debuffs viable. The biggest issue is that divinity is extremely overtuned and is literally the *perfect* debuff tool, while every other available debuff offers literally nothing.
-
I would probably vault it and forget it exists and then probably avoid DSC because I don't wanna deal with Taniks and his swinging tiny head
-
Really don't raid, so they can do whatever they like to it....
-
People will still use it. Debuffing is the gun's intended purpose. But there's always that one person saying that something's a crutch when it truly isn't. Then again, everything's a crutch in the game when people deny the fact that maybe they're not as skilled as they think they are.
-
My feelings aren’t affected by video game changes, & I'd use it just as much as I do now or less than I do now, depending on what the nerf is.
-
I’ll just use something else, unless it’s a minimal enough nerf for Div to still be on top/worth using

Edited by Illuminary: 9/12/2022 2:36:09 PMI back up dps with rapid fusions which are pretty strong still. But, if I have aiming issues my dps will obviously drop and if I don't raid well I don't raid. I am really only here for conquer gilding anyway.

1 ReplyI would drop raids and by extension more than half my play time would be spent on other games purely on principle.
