It’s a core principle that when designing Any kind of game, wether it be a video game, card game etc. That having ONE thing, that is both the easiest and best option that has no equal (no tether isn’t it’s equal) and that has no opportunity cost, is both a flaw in a game design (not to condemn bungie, this happens) and just plain less interesting.
I think a lot of people arguing for a Div nerf/change are coming at it from the wrong angle. It’s not about making the game harder, it’s about giving people choices and making the game more interesting. Make the game easier, just don’t make me have to bring a div every time. Do you really want to be using divinity every time? From now till the end of time?
Ps. “Don’t use it then” is not an argument, clearly you don’t care for improving the state of the game if this is your stance.
