Saw under the twab that you guys mentioned the 120hz option being gone from PS5, but no mention of the same issue on series x? In fact.. no mention of Xbox glitches at all even though we have mostly the same issues?
I'm hoping this isn't the case, but this has nothing to do with the Sony acquisition, right? Just feels pretty weird to leave out an entire playerbase when referring to bugs and fixes. Did you guys just not know it was also an issue on Xbox I hope..?

2 RepliesEdited by Chunk: 9/9/2022 8:37:07 PMI noticed that the 120 hz option on ps5 is not there... I tested it thou.. in reg patrol n strikes in hd and 60 fps as measured by my monitor frame counter comes up 60 fps.. when I load into a private pvp match n test I'm still getting 1080p n 120 fps.. it's just the option is gone but my monitor says the frames are still there. Edit: on ps5 it now allows me to run 1440 p on my monitor in pvp with 120 fps instead of being capped at 1080p 120fps.. I don't know if there's an actual visual difference but it allows me to have control over the brightness in areas I didn't in PvP like coming out of a cap point on jav4 into the light I can make it lighter or darker the light, and coming out of tunnels on distant shore into the brightness it's not so jarringly bright. Just go into your PS5 settings not destiny settings, in video and make sure select auto 120 fps mode is selected.

From what I noticed a, a friend of mine just got a new monitor and while the settings aren't there for some reason, you still do get 120fps while in crucible. That is of course you have a display that can run 120hz+ in the first place.
