App slow and unresponsive m

- slow transfer of items to or from vault - delayed refresh on character screen to show items actually equipped/stored - equipping items is slow - the loading circle thing for the above action does not end. I hit the back button and things eventually work, but there is no confirmation message - cannot access bounties - started with this season update The app updated today. I can share android/phone version and app version info if needed. Thanks for checking on it

  • I'm playing a [b]lot less[/b], only during times where the API seems to limp along vs. falling flat on its face. I depend too much on DIM and the mobile app, it seems. I look forward to Bungie writing in the future how they did proper re-engineering to make their essential API-layer [i]scalable and robust[/i] 👍. I have to think they have instrumentation and telemetry that has all sorts of red-alerts going off. Well, I cling to that. But given just the playlist / public event bugs I've run into this week (no ability to progress / stuck) I also figure there are bigger red-alerts first. 🚨

  • I have only had one real complaint with destiny 2 and that has been Vault access. Then the APP nd DIM came along and I was happy. Today it faster to fly and pick up bounties and update mods in game. That is a problem. I hope this is resolved soon. My guess is that Bungie is busy with in game issues post patch update. I am sure they will address it.

  • API still not working. Comp app and DIM unusable… it’s Friday and no respond from bungie. I just posting my questions in Twitter hopping for some response

  • There's also been a serious issue with the Fireteams feature, where no matter what fireteam I join on the app, I get no invite whatsoever in game. It had happened a few times before, but since the start of season 18 it's been completely broken.

    • This issue is like the crossplay desync issue. They're totally ignoring it and hoping it fixes itself. I was hoping last night's hotfix would help but it's made it worse. I could pick up bounties yesterday, albeit very slowly. Now I can't pick anything up at all Jokers

    • Completely agree. Bungie needs to fix this Vault API asap. As well as fixing VOW Raid as pinnacle. Those are the most important updates that are required. Delay King's Fall for another week at this point. Like who cares? Enough breaking the game and get a team that can properly fix it.

      • The app performance is horrible. I’ve lost two of my highest level weapons trying to transfer to another character. Just get a network lost error and poof the weapon is gone.

      • Yep, they apparently hosed something up big-time with the API. Way to go Bungo; fail to include basic functionality (e.g. loadouts) so that 3rd-party tools step in and become nearly essential, then cripple those tools (and your own app). Apparently testing is too hard.

      • Same - the game is almost unplayable without DIM. My vault is almost full, so I now have to stop playing.

      • It's the API - performance has been getting steadily worse and now it's pretty much reached the bottom

      • Since the update, using the app has been painful! Slow, transfer of items tails miserably, and so challenging to join fireteams, by the time it responds team is closed

      • It was bad yesterday but tonight it's -blam!-. I could literally switch characters, drop off weapons I want to switch at the vault, switch back, pick them up and visit every single planet to pick up quests faster than this thing is tonight. The forums are also very slow. Someone needs a new server.

      • Same.. mobile app performance is trash since the new season. With the update today now it wont even load the director or guardian screen. Just blank tabs. Clear cache, data, uninstall dont work either

      • Same issue with me. Since the update to the API for the new season the user experience is painfully slow. The API is an integral part of playing D2 with multiple characters and access to your vault space, playing D2 with things this slow is a chore. I wont be playing or pumping anymore money in until this is fixed!

      • Started yesterday after the season went live, and hasn't worked right since. 95% of the time it doesn't even load, and when it does its extremely slow and buggy. Bounty acquisition and gear transfer regularly fail to the point that its just faster to go to the vendors and vault than mess with the app at all. Its a shame, I use the app very heavily.

      • Companion app, ishtar and DIM alll broken right now, bungie please fix API issues, really makes playing game impossible when trying to run 3 characters and switch gear, also cannot LFG since apps broken
