So how do you guys feel about the new TWAB

Good change overall with even more coming next mid sesson/the season after With them making glaive works with each exotics and the note that they want even more exotics than announced to be usable ....I just can't wait for glaive with dunemarcher

1 ReplyI think Lord needs a pve buff like a HUGE one now thing was already one of the worst weapons in pve and now you're telling me it got another nerf now maybe not a big one in pve as the only nerf is to release but still it needs another 20% buff since the base was lowered by 20% meaning it got a 0% change in pve. Collective could be great the fact that as long as there's a target you have an infinite perk could be extremely powerful. DMT I think is gonna be worse in pve than it was before as the 20% nerf while your fire rate is increased is gonna have the same issue Desperado had where it was too much of a damage nerf that the bonus almost 200 fire rate was kinda worthless. These are my thoughts on the weapon changes

When the bar is set to hot useless garbage, then this one was extremely mediocre. That's a step above complete garbage so yea cause the bar is that low, it was better than the previous ones. :)

1 ReplyThe latest iteration of Bungie's endless marketing ploys. Nothing more, nothing less. If you fall for it I'll assume you are new around here. What's Bungie's record of their words matching or accurately describing the final product? I mean, it's abysmal.

Changing the META doesnt improve the game not one bit especially from a bigger scale of problems that are left unchecked or unfinished. How many times must Bungie address weapons, exotics and subclasses while avoiding map additions, map clutter removal or additions and lobby balancing changes?? How about core QOL updates to current content in the game that are permanent???

2 RepliesEdited by Soupreem: 8/12/2022 2:55:43 PMThey went WAY overboard on Lord of Wolves. I'm gonna argue it'll be worse than even Rapid frames next season. And the DMT nerf was also way too big (it can't even 3-tap all Resiliences at x5, so you want to actively AVOID stacking the perk all the way now). Otherwise, it's a great TWAB, just hope ARs get a Range and/or DPS buff soon.

1 ReplyIt was fine. 7/10. I like the Wishender Buff and the omnioculus nerf. I play on console so I don't see Lord of Wolves a lot. I don't understand the DMT nerf. It hasn't been meta in a while. It's still good currently but nothing game breaking. It's rare to reach max stacks of cranial spike in pvp. The change isn't that bad since the 2 tap only came from cranial spike x5. Otherwise it's just a regular 2 crit 1 body. I do find it odd that their looking at nerfing 150 scout rifles. The only outlier was Jade Rabbit with its 80 aim assist and near perfect stability. If anything just nerf Jade. All the other 150s are fine. They only saw massive play in trials when it was eternity. The week after on endless vale saw the usage rate drop off.

Wishender and Malfeasance are anti-champion now, so that's good for me. I have yet to test both: dreading for Wishender tbh, last season's piercing mod was ruining it basically.

Some good, some bad, some ehhh, and more importantly more unanswered questions. I rate it better than the usual ones we get.

A really good one, I want to see bungie release twabs like these every week if possible. I love to know exactly what it is bungie is working on. Nothing sucks more than game devs staying quiet, if a lot of you would only stop being so toxic then bungie would be more open to talking to the players.

They've come a long way would much rather see buffs as opposed to nerfs. Old twabs would have 50 nerfs and I never understood it.

Ehy Guardian. Pretty good TWAB, imho. I liked all the changes they made. Pretty glad for Le Monarque and Wish Ender in particular.
