I designed a raid

THIS RAID CAN BE DONE SOLO IF YOU  DARE... BASICS Theme: the dark forest Enemy: taken Loot: weapon theme Prison Of Elders (ie. Six dreg pride, wolves leash, wolfslayers claw, the last rebellion etc...) armor theme Prison Of Elders Location: EDZ Mechanics: WEIGHT OF DARKNESS, STRENGTH  OF DARKNESS, FESTERING LIGHT, ENVELOPING DARKNESS, PSIONIC  SHIELDING, BLIGHTED PRISON, FIRETEAM SCALING Ease: easy FIRETEAM SCALING Enemies gain 83% more health per player in a linear format (NOT EXPONENTIAL) MASTER MODE: add +2 players to the scaling equation. Add the modifiers CHAFF, LEGENDARY, GALVANIZED, EMPATH, and cap players effective power level 15 below ENCOUNTERS 1st encounter: entrance. Mechanic WEIGHT OF DARKNESS, ENVELOPING DARKNESS. You spawn in the sludge (in the standard spot) make your way to the dark forest portal in the cave right before you enter place a banner you're gonna need it... when you and your team is ready go through the portal. Once you enter you will gain the ENVELOPING DARKNESS (your vision is greatly impaired) debuff and you will also start gaining WEIGHT OF DARKNESS stacks as this is going on you are being swarmed by shadow thrall. Your objective is to make your way through 3 portals teleporting to 3 different area's the portals can be found by following the path(s) (there is only one way to go) once you do go through 3 portals the encounter ends and a chest spawns. 2nd encounter: boss (THE LIGHT BUTCHER) (giant taken knight who wields a sword and shield). Mechanics, FESTERING LIGHT (a special enemy drops a spark of light empowering your abilities allowing them to damage the bosses invulnerability shield) after encounter 1 you will spawn in a large open arena with little cove in the center of the arena will be the boss place a banner and shoot him to begin. After shooting the big guy hordes of shadow thrall spawn and 1 taken knight (major). Thrall will keep spawning till the major dies. When the major dies he drops a little puddle of light  once 1 player steps in it they get the buff FESTERING LIGHT and the puddle starts to fade the rest of your team has 10 seconds to walk through the puddle to get the buff. The buff itself last 15 seconds. Use your abilities to damage the bosses shield (all abilities including unpowered melee work) supers work best (50% of shield), unpowered melee work worst (5% of shield). (Unique interactions SILENCE AND SQUALL if you hit both kamas the shield breaks, ANY ROAMING SUPER deals 25% max shield health as damage, CHAOS REACH deals 10% max shield health as damage per tic, WELL increased % of damage abilities do by 50%). Empowered melees and grenades do 20% of max shield health as damage respectively. If your team can not break his shield in 1 go more thrall and another knight spawns. Once the bosses shield breaks he falls over (exactly like Crota use to when you hit him with the sword) you and your team have 45 seconds to damage him. If the time runs out he gets up and more adds spawn again repeat. After he dies a chest spawns as well as a portal grab your loot and continue. 3rd encounter: boss (THE DARK PROXY) (giant taken vex hobgoblin). Mechanics: STRENGTH OF DARKNESS: when active bosses gain damage reduction and damage buffs and standard enemies gain a damage buff. (1 stack = 3% damage buff) (1 stack = 9% DR) max stacks 10. As soon as you enter you will see yet another boss arena in the back of the arena there will be the boss place a banner and shoot him to begin. Once the encounter starts 5 CRUX OF DARKNESS will spawn around the arena each being guarded by a group of adds. Each group of adds container an taken harpy kill it. Killing the harpy drops a taken laser grab it and go to town on one of the CRUX OF DARKNESS. Destroying a CRUX OF DARKNESS damages the bosses shield (1/5 of shield health). Repeat till all CRUX OF DARKNESS are destroyed. Once all CRUX OF DARKNESS are destroyed the boss will spawn 3 copies of himself (don't damage him yet if you damage the wrong one you will wipe) (each copy dealing a different type of damage solor, ark, void). Once the boss splits a ton of adds spawns and he starts a wipe mechanic. You have 5 minutes to kill all the adds to and to reveal a darkness pyramid that will emit a certain element. Damage the boss that does that element. Once you damage the right one you have 1 minute to damage the boss before the wipe mechanic starts again. Kill all adds, look at pyramid, shoot right boss repeat. Once all 3 die a chest and portal spawns, collect your loot and continue when ready. 4th encounter: objective. Mechanics: PSIONIC SHIELDING. In this encounter you will be in a maze while being chased by 5 immune taken cabal gladiators. They are immune because they have PSIONIC SHIELDING to remove there shielding you must kill the psion shielding them there is a psion for every gladiator. After you kill every gladiator the encounter ends. 5th encounter: THE BLIGHT MOTHER (final boss) (taken captain) mechanics: BLIGHTED PRISON, STRENGTH OF DARKNESS, FESTERING LIGHT. You spawn in a arena with the shard of the Traveler in the back of it. You will notice a taken blight in the center of the arena destroy it to start the encounter. Once the encounter starts the boss spawns and so do tons of adds 5 taken blights spawn in the arena as well.(these blights are important). So first you and your team want to get rid of STRENGTH OF DARKNESS (so you can actually damage the boss) to do that you must destroy the 5 blights but they are immune to all damage. To damage the blights you need FESTERING LIGHT and just like in the 2nd encounter there will be a special enemy to drop the buff kill him, grab the buff and use your abilities to damage the blight. Once all 5 blights are destroyed you can damage the boss. You have 45 seconds to damage the boss after that a giant blight spawns above the boss and one of your teammates is teleported inside it (the one who did the most damage to the boss) while the rest of the team continue the encounter by repeating the steps again. Inside the blight there are tons of taken thrall and one big taken knight. Defeating the knight destroys the blight and the player is teleported back to there team. Once the BLIGHT MOTHER dies congratulations you have done it you beat the raid hopefully you get the exotic. ENCOUNTER CHALLENGES PACIFIST: (1st encounter) kill zero enemies. ALL MINE: (2nd encounter) only one player can have the buff at a time. MATCHED GAME: (3rd encounter) only damage the proxy with the same element he uses. CHAMPION: (4th encounter) all gladiators must be killed within 30 seconds of each other. LIFE SENTENCE: (5th encounter) no player can leave the blight prison LOOT ORIGIN TRAIT: RESOURCEFUL, on a precision kill has a chance to reload stowed weapons (10%) RAID EXCLUSIVE PERK: SCRAP MAG (magazine perk), greatly increased reload speed and increased range at the cost of mag size. (+25 reload, +10 range, -20% mag size) LEGENDARY (ARE CRAFTABLE) (Prison Of Elders themed) (Auto rifle) ETHER REAPER, void 720 rpm rapid fire auto rifle. Notable perk combo (demolitionist, adrenaline junkie) (Sidearm) DIRTY TACTICS, ark 325 rpm aggressive burst sidearm. Notable perk combo (outlaw, killclip) (Fusion rifle) DEVASTATION, void 55 rpm aggressive frame shotgun. Notable perk combo (graverobber, swashbuckler) (Sniper) NO SURVIVORS, ark 140 rpm rapid fire frame sniper rifle. Notable  perk combo (no distractions, box breathing) (Rocket launcher) MASSACRE, solar 25 rpm aggressive frame rocket launcher. Notable perk combo (ambitious assassin, lasting impression) (Machine gun) THE CHAINSAW, ark 900 rpm rapid fire machine gun. Notable perk combo (subsistence, rampage) EXOTIC: DEAD HOUSE (Same weapon model a Six Dregs Pride from Prison Of Elders in d1). ark 180 rpm handcannon. Text under the title reads "very few know who Misraaks was before" (Intrinsic) WOLF'S HOWL: rapidly landing 2 precision hits greatly increases the next shots precision damage for a short time. (50% increased precision damage for 6 seconds or until 1 shot is fired) (Barrel) EXTENDED BARREL (Mag) SCRAP MAG (Trait) KELL'S REGRET: precision hits chain lighting to nearby enemies. This weapon is strong against OVERLOAD CHAMPIONS. (Grip) TEXTURED GRIP (Catalyst) RAPID HIT, +10 range EXACT STATS (catalyst included) Impact (84) Range (71) Stability (52) Handling (40) Reload Speed (79) Reload Time (2.3 seconds) Aim Assistance (79) Inventory Size (60) Zoom (14) Airborne Effectiveness (10) Recoil (100) Bounce Intensity  (0) Rounds Per Minute (180) Magazine Size (9) INSPERATION: I wanted Not Forgotten and I wanted a handcannon that would synergize with ark. RAID TRIUMPHS (seal name, KELL) KELL OF KELLS: master mode completion (sparrow reward) (sparrow is designed to resemble a fallen pike) WOLF IN THE NIGHT: solo completion (ship reward) (ship is a fallen ketch) HOUSE OF WINTER: complete PACIFIST (reward, increased exotic drop chance) HOUSE OF DEVIL'S: complete ALL MINE (reward, increased exotic drop chance) HOUSE OF EXILES: complete MATCHED GAME (reward, increased exotic drop chance) HOUSE OF RAIN: complete CHAMPION (reward, increased exotic drop chance) HOUSE OF JUDGMENT: complete LIFE SENTENCE (reward, increased exotic drop chance) HOUSE OF WOLVES: obtain the exotic SCAVENGER: craft all raid weapons THIEF: loot both of the hidden secret chest (shader reward) ARCHON: flawless completion (shader reward) ARCHON PRIEST: solo flawless completion I AM IN PAIN: solo master mode completion CLOSING Thank you all for reading this was a big challenge for me as I had to make the raid scale (the scaling may change) make it doable solo, and make it feel more like a raid then a large dungeon.   • I made lore for the exotic. It is in reference to Misraaks past in house wolves. EXOTIC LORE: A conversation between two unknown Eliksni... (E1) What do you mean he was a tyrant!! (E2) He was cruel and wicked just like his mother. (E1) and when was this I can not see the light kell in such a way. (E2) when he was one of Skolas wolves his mother would not kill you for failure but worse she would torture you. She would twist your arms till they snap, she would starve you and then send you out certain to die. When he became a captain he would follow her example, not even learning the names of the ones he killed. (E1) he protects the hatchlings, he protects us he would never!! (E2) if you don't believe me then ask him yourself..... Also If any part of my raid bothers you put in in a reply I will see it and respond. :)
