I think it tells a lot about how bad Trials is when a 50% win rate is close to top 30% according to destiny tracker

If Trials would be in a healthy spot, a 50% win rate wouldn't be on 30% top leaderboard across all platforms. This does not only show how tiny the "good players" playerbase is, but also how bad the average player is in Trials. You could easily say that Trials is for the Top 30% of the pvp community on all platforms, not for the majority. Edit: The numbers are LIFETIME win rate, not just since the rework.

 • It shows that Trials isn’t competitive. It’s Predatory. In Major League Baseball right now? Sixteen of the 30 teams are playing .500 baseball or better (won half of their games or more). That’s what a competitive league looks like. The fact that only 30% of teams in Trial can do the same shows that there is a lopsided skill gap, and therefor most matches aren’t competitive. Remember. This is AFTER Bungie overhauled Trials and added a weak form of SBMM. Imagine how bad the numbers used to be. And now you understand why the playlist kept self-destructing.
