Every class has a speciality. Sunspot for titan. Healing for warlock. Radiant for hunter. So no. Otherwise hunter should get something in return.

    Hunter already has instant reload or melee regen which combined then with exotics and a low timer to regen does give them a upper hand. E.g infinite ignition with calibans infinite invisibility and resilience with omni almost infinite self invisibility with graviton forfeit and the list does go on and you can dodge more than an overload with radiant dance machines (that ones more of a joke but true )

    hunters have a very low timer and a lot of synergy to their dodges from invisibility and instant reloads to now radiance which synergises with a lot of overpowered parts of solar 3.0. I play all 3 and I've always felt hunter has had some of the best synergy with exotics and new skills and I wished all 3 had that sort of synergy. E.g any solar effect kills this season I've just thrown knives infinitely that destroy rooms full with 0 effort. if I want massive melee DPS ill go titan throwing hammer if I want infinite grenades I go Starfire. the point again is dodge is a swiss army knife of a class ability and anyone that says it isn't broken sometimes has never had a hunter roll into a wall to negate explosives in PVP and I mean about 10 feet up a wall with a dodge. Back to the point above radiance isn't a hunter-only skill but it is easily attainable by using the hunter dodge. Give phoenix dive radiance and give the rally barricade radiance so all 3 have the choice and see how fair people see it. it would make wonders in PvE to all have that choice. But I wouldn't expect someone with "hunter" in their name to not be a bit biased with anything hunter based.

  • The "hunter" in my name is because of monster hunter my dude. Also. 13 second rally barricade compared to 40 seconds radiant dodge if both are 100 as a stat. Not really balanced. Warlock has empower rift already which is a better radiant. Also...hunter dodge osnt the fastest class ability cooldown. Thats barricade.

  • See the slowest dodge is 41 seconds with acrobat the slowest shield is 41 seconds with bastion the fastest warlock is 41 seconds for all3 including phoenix dive which was a subclass perk like dashing. The fastest dodge is 14 the fastest shield is 16. So back to the point class abilities aren't made equal because every 14 seconds the magic happens weather its a heal, reloading all weapons or any of the other exotic perks.   • The fastest dodge is 14 with frostees and mods. Without exotic and mods. 100 mobility is 18 seconds dodge and 100 resilience is 14 seconds rally barricade. Dont know why you mention bastion... ...which is void.... on a solar discussion.

  • Because I was talking absolutes and the base regen speed is clearly documented by people who test it thoroughly. I mean I can boot up the game and do a stopwatch for the marksman dodge if you don't believe the largest compendium of testing data over 2 seconds but either way dodge is the fastest cooldown always have been. So put regen times aside because when the slowest hunter regen is same as the fastest of all 3 warlock class regens it makes that whole situation void for the point here. The problem i have with all this is why shouldn't all 3 classes have access to a second source of radiance thats my question. Yes I know sunspots are titan thing on kills heals are accessible easily from all 3 for grenades now but radiance from 2 sources for a single class again seems a bit uneven.

  • Ok. Use your stopwatch then. But titan has the fastest class ability regen . And it has been like that since beyond light. And its easy to calculate. 100 mobility gives a 40% cooldown.

  • Lets put the 2 seconds or whatever supposedly the difference is to the side and back to the main point. Why would you not want titan and warlock team mates to give you radiance using class abilities? you seem to be avoiding this question like the plague, titans and hunters can get devour and that was a unique warlock ability so why not radiance which is new and accessible already across all 3 via the fragment.

  • You can get devour and radiant the same way. By picking up an orb. And class difference is a good thing. If every class was the same the game would be boring. Also..WARLOCKS HAVE EMPOWER RIFT. Empower rift is 15% in pvp while radiant is 10%.

  • Your comparing fragments to seasonal mods and still not answering the question. Why would you not want to have your allies give you radiance? I mean if anything it should have been solar warlock with well of radiance and all if your going to nitpick. I mean if j had a mobile 10% buff for my allies I would gladly be dishing it out. Not a stand still while you get shot 15% I would love for radiance from empowering even with the loss of 5%.

  • I already answered. Play hunter if you want to give your allies radiance or invis. Play warlock if you want to heal allies or give them damage buff or overshield. Play titan if you want to give allies a powerfull overshield. Dont make all classes the same because that defeats the purpose of multiple classes. That would be like saying make hunter dodge proc a 50 health overshield. Or give titan a 3x exploding magnetic grenade. AKA dumb.

  • Just a follow up to the timer discussion on barricade I spoke to the person that wrote the sheet I referenced and got the reply below: It should be 16, as Tier 10 applies a 100% regen multiplier to class ability recharge

  • I mean you sidestepped the question again it must be that hunter dodge again lol. I'll ask again, do you like getting buffs from team mates? If the answer is yes then the whole discussion is about why can't we give thus buff more to eachother without being locked to a single class.

    Ok I see what you are saying, in that case radiant as a buff should be adjusted and not work in crucible, sunspots got a hard nerf in crucible, warlocks heal but hunters get on demand damage buff? Sounds like a pre nerf lorely situation. So don't allow radiant to work in pvp got ya :)

  • Pre nerf lorely was a 25% damage buff. Same as rift. Radiant is a 10% damage buff and it does not heal like lorely either. So no...its nothing alike. Also..rift still gives 15% damage buff...so remove that as well right....going by your logic.
