I think I've received nothing for completing a task but I'm not sure so I think I should have to "click" on a quest to "officially" complete it because;
I completed an Iron Banner rank but stayed out for another match before collecting my engram
After that next match I got the gold banner across the bottom of the screen informing me that I'd completed the quest or a part of a quest, I'm not sure it wasn't there for long.
I flew to the tower to find 1 engram waiting for me and nothing else.
If the reward for the quest(which I though was a sword?) has automatically gone to my inventory then I can't see it, I was given a hand cannon at the end of the match but there was nothing to suggest that was my quest reward, it appeared just like any Iron Banner post-match drop.
I think I might have received nothing for completing the Iron Banner quest. Either that or I need to be required to click on a completed quest to receive my reward so there can be no confusion.
"RA RA RA YOU JUST DID THIS AND THAT AND THIS AND YOU DID IT SO WELL SO CONGRATULATIONS" appearing at the bottom of the screen for 2 seconds gets lost amongst other info and is like a road side menu at 70mph.
Otherwise I'm loving Rift and the new engram system is a huge improvement.

1 ReplyThe quest has no reward for finishing it. It's just a quick tutorial about iron banner that lets you claim stuff on Saladin's rank up track
